My Self-Summary
Well, i am me. I am ridiculous and love every minute of it. I hail
from the ever exotic land of Buffalo, NY but now reside in lovely
lovely Ithaca. I've got 2 little brothers who, however crazy
annoying they can get, really are quite something. I love my family
and my 3 best friends and really don't know where I'd be without
the bunch. I'm called Scribit by my closest friends for reasons
that they would not reveal to me for entirely too long... but it's
stuck and I like to think it suits me!
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently working as an LVT (liceansed Veterinary Technician)
in Ithaca, NY. It is, quite honestly, the Best Job Ever! I get paid
to play with puppies and kittens, and to take peoples sick pets and
fix them (or, in most cases, being a scratching post to kittens and
a chew toy for puppies). It's a very rewarding profession and i
can't imagine doing anything else with my life. I'm also in the
process of trying to go back to college to get my bachelors in
English... The jury is still out on if I'm crazy for wanting to do
so.
I’m really good at
I kind of rock at blood draws. Fluffy front legs, hidden hind leg
veins, the ever elusive jugular....
The first things people usually notice about me
the first thing that people usually notice about me is that i
somewhat leak happiness. A kind of "sweet giddy
happy-with-life-at-this-exact-moment kind of thing".
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I like variety!
Books: Anything by Tolkien, Lewis, Neil Gaiman, or Edward Gorey, The Princess Bride, Once and Future King, The Eragon books, Harry Potter, Beowowulf, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Monsters of Templeton, Fox in Socks, His Dark Material, Flat Stanley, Harold and the Purple Crayon, Hitchikers Guide... and endless others!
As far as movies go, I may not look it, but i love horror and action and... not really big on the "girly" movies. Also, Any movie with muppets in it gets an automatic WIN in my book!
Music wise, i have an odd varied list of things i listen to from classic rock, to strange indie music.. Ranging from The Kinks, to Simon and Garfunkel to The Magnetic Fields.

Im usually in on a Friday night, cuddling with my kitties and
reading. Though there are times i'll go out and actually have fun.

Im much more of a Klutz than i am generally willing to admit.
