My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'll be honest; I won't have sex with you. Just throwin' that out there.

I'm very driven when I need to be, I do believe that I can do anything. I think with my heart and not my head, so sometimes I can get a little too emotional. I'm not afraid to admit it. I have a lot to say about a lot of people. To some people that's bitchy, to me it's honesty.

I take pride in everything I do. If someone doesn't appreciate me, I'll walk out in a heartbeat. I'm not cocky, and I don't expect someone to think I'm the best at everything. I just like to be acknowledged.

I like to show people how much I really care about them. I've been known to write songs, make mix CDs, and leave 10 minute messages. If you doubt our relationship, there probably isn't one.

Writing is a huge outlet for me, so is reading. I love people who can recommend great books for me.

I love dressing and acting like a girl, but being treated like one of the guys. I love watching sports on TV and I love to play but I'm not in the best shape. I've played softball, basketball, and golf all competitively. Sometimes I get way too competitive.

I have enough self-confidence and I can't stand people who fish for compliments all day. When I give compliments, they really mean something.

I’m not afraid to “tell it like it is”. If you don’t want to hear the brutal truth, don’t ask me questions. But to me, there’s a difference between being truthful and be rude. Just because I take your feelings into account doesn’t mean I’m not going to say what I think. It might sound like I’m joking around or making fun of someone else but when you get to know me you’ll be able to tell. So, get to know me. :]
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I go to Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA. Currently I'm majoring in English and Gender Studies with a minor in Philosophy, but I think I might be taking English out and putting Sociology in. Who knows, though? I work at Planned Parenthood doing administrative work which is alright.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking, but also listening. Getting attached. I can quote movies like nobody's business. I can turn any situation into an awkward one. Finding song lyrics that perfectly fit my life.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My loud, bubbly, sometimes over-the-top and obnoxious personality. Also, my blue eyes. :]
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Deciding on a favorite book is the most complicated thing I've ever done in my life. Anything by Margaret Peterson Haddix, Julie Anne Peters, Laurie Halse Anderson, or Nicholas Sparks. I kind of have a thing for women authors with three names. :] Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell, The Adventures of Huck Finn by Mark Twain, Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk, The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen, and many, many more. My favorite poets are Maya Angelou, Emily Dickinson, and Mary Oliver.
My top five movies: Ella Enchanted, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Wizard of Oz, Drop Dead Gorgeous, and The Sixth Sense.
My favorite band in the whole world is Franz Ferdinand, and my favorite solo artist is Catie Curtis. No Doubt, Jack Johnson, Melissa Etheridge, Sarah McLachlan, The Cranberries, Katy Perry, Sophie B. Hawkins, Maroon 5, The B-52s, U2, Natasha Bedingfield, Regina Spektor, Sister Hazel, Chicago, and The Zombies. But that's only the beginning...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My mother, my guitar, my addictions, books, notebooks, and magazine clippings
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future. I like to daydream and imagine my life in 2, 5, 10, 20 years.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Partying it up with my friends or running around in the city. We go down to Iowa City a lot so if you're down there hit me up!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a very unhealthy attachment to my hair. Last time I got it cut, I cried.
