I am Adventuresome, Intelligent, and Easy going.
My Self-Summary
I'm a bit a stay-at-home kind of guy, but I like to try new things
and usually enjoy myself when I get out. I like movies, cartoons,
anime, and video games. I also enjoy physical activities such as
hiking, ping-pong and Tai Chi, but I rather dislike sports. I don't
really like dance clubs or bars, but usually have a lot of fun at
weddings. I'd like to take a dance class sometime.
I recently acquired a motorcycle license and plan to get 2010
Suzuki TU250.
What I’m doing with my life
I moved to Maryland in January of 2008 to start my new job at the
Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. My current
title is Satellite Communications and Computer Networking Systems
Engineer. I mostly design and write computer simulations. I have a
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialisation
in Communications. I'm currently working full time and taking
classes towards my Master's degree part time at Johns Hopkins
University.
I’m really good at
A number of things, but it seems if I ever try to brag about
something I immediately suck at it. So, I don't brag any more.
Plus, it's a lot cooler to be modest about something and totally
kick ass at it.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Movies: The Fifth Element, The Princess Bride, Pitch Black, The
Professional, V for Vendetta
TV: Firefly, MST3K (Warning: I might talk during some movies
because of this. On the up side my comments might be funny.)
Cartoons: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Futurama, Spongebob
Anime: Armitage III, His and Her Circumstances, Hellsing, Outlaw
Star, Princess Tutu, Read or Die
Manga: Skip Beat
Food: pizza, seafood, (authentic) Chinese, Indian, Japanese,
Korean, Taiwanese, Vietnamese
Books: Hmm, I read Ender's Game recently. It was decent.
Music: I enjoy many different kind of music. Right now I suppose my
favorites are Jazz and Metal (System of a Down being my current
favorite)
The six things I could never do without
Family - I have 3 sisters, 2 brothers, both parents and actually
like all of them. Only one of my brothers is in the same state as
me though :-(
Computer - slave to technology
Linux - can't stand Windows...Apple isn't worth the price
I know that's 3 things and I could actually do without them, but it
would make me sad.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Technology, human behaviour, law, politics, pretty much any
interesting topic I come across.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home reading articles on various topics and/or chatting with
friends/family online.
You should message me if
If you want to chat online to get to know me better (Really, give
me chance. I'm very friendly). If interested and upon finding each
other agreeable we could move on to dating and so forth (I'll
sometimes write like this, but don't think I ever speak this way
unless in obvious jest).
If you want another player for your tabletop gaming group ( Like
D&D 4E. I've semi-recently decided I really want to try this ).
Particularly if you need a rogue :-)
