Body Type
Mostly anything
Agnosticism, and laughing about it
Cancer, and it’s fun to think about
Graduated from university
Doesn’t have kids, but might want them
Likes dogs and dislikes cats
My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up in Southern California. Moved here 10 years ago and might never leave. There is a lot more than that but I'm pretty sure you don't want to read my memoirs right this second... Maybe on a second date I'll bring you a copy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Herding lawyers. And their minions.

Buying too many history nerd books and getting around to reading them (eventually).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Telling stories, saying swears, opening bottles of wine, chopping garlic or onions (Seriously, I went to a cooking class thing recently and the chef told me that my "Spanish fan" technique with the garlic was perfect... I don't know if that's a real thing or if he just made that up). Making good conversation with stranger or old friends.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
The Rolling Stones are very high on the list. If its Motown, I'm in. I love finding a NEW favorite song. That is my real favorite.

Mad Men, Broad City, Ridiculousness (I don't apologize).

I hadn't seen Casablanca until a few years ago, I thought it might be one of those movies that people love for nostalgic reasons... no it's brilliant.

My favorite book is East of Eden, Bill Bryson is great. Mix of non-fiction and fiction. Ta-Nehisi Coates. David Sedaris is hilarious. I will nerd the F out if you want to talk about Game of Thrones.

Sometimes good food is a grilled cheese sandwich. Sometimes it is at a fancy restaurant. Either way it needs to have good company and conversation.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Telling stories with my brother
A proper bookshelf
A smart woman
Saying swears
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Honestly? What I am going to eat next...

Also WHY something is the way it is. I like to see the connections.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The same thing we do every night. Try to take over the world!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My dad has called me Bones or Bonesy since the day I was born. I guess I was a really skinny baby, the name stuck. Some people hate their childhood nicknames. People still use mine and I like it.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are genuinely funny and smart. You like to stay in and share a bottle of wine and watch some documentaries. You like to go out and eat a delicious meal. You enjoy cooking with a partner. You can play me some good music.

I like partnerships. I like banter. I want someone who will make me laugh and make me think.
