I've got a huge library of music, either on my computer or on vinyl. I love collecting records.

Here's a generated thing from last FM.

I play a lot of games, be they video, board, or card. I'm fascinated with how they can change our perception and give us a greater source of entertainment than other passive forms. My favorite designers for video games that come to mind are Terry Cavanagh, Jonathan Blow, Team ICO, Valve, Black Isle Studios (when they existed), and Troika (when they existed).

Philip K Dick is my literary hero of sci fi, while Tennessee Williams takes that honor for plays. I also love Nick Hornby because I feel a very close kinship to him.

I delight in watching so-bad-it's-good movies, and riffing them like MST3K. The "unholy trinity" is Troll 2, The Room, and Manos: The Hands of Fate (which, when translated, is Hands: The Hands of Fate).

I also love Aqua Teen, Adventure Time, Regular Show, and stuff like that. I love that sort of map-cap animation, where anything can and will happen, simply because it's animated, so it's possible, so why not?

Groundhog Day is probably the best movie, although High Fidelity is the movie that hits closest to home for me. I'm a combination of all the Championship Vinyl employees, but I'm mostly Rob.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Going off of "things" instead of "people", and of course 'never do without' should be taken with a grain of salt. Let's go with 'my daily life would be quite different without regular and ready access to these things.

Computer, Internet access, reliable housing and personal bed, music collection and means to play it, musical instruments,
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Making mixtapes.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Most of the time, I'm out with my friends. Maybe "out" isn't the right word, but definitely with my friends. We usually play games (video or board or card- Munchkin, Pandemic, and the Resident Evil card game(!) are some of our favorites), or watch some really god-awful movies because we like to make ourselves miserable but also not really.
If I'm not with my friends, I'm at home either talking with them online, or reading something online or a book or playing a game by myself, or simply being around my parents.

That is of course, when marching band is not in full swing. If it IS, then I'm drinking water like crazy and going to bed really early so I can get to 8 AM practice on time.
