My self-summary
I am Curious, Clever, and a Jack-Of-All-Trades

Intellectual pursuits play a very large role in my life. I love thinking about life, reality, culture, and the general state of the universe. If we can talk about politics, economics, sociology, cognitive science, linguistics, etc. for hours, I will probably fall in love. TED Talks, Science On Tap, NPR, Scientific American, NY Times, and The Economist are some of my favorite sources of entertainment.

Being outdoors is amazing! I love hiking, camping, backpacking, etc. I've also been going on long boat camping trips for the last couple of years. Seeing the coastline by rowing past it in a old, wooden dory is amazing. Also, I would love to go bike touring.

Art is another important part of me. I love painting, drawing, and playing bass. I love listening to music, reading, cooking, going to museums & art galleries, playing games, going to the theater, or just watching a movie.

I have a diverse amount of hobbies and interests. I love biking, swimming, playing cards, rock climbing, shooting pool, etc. Also, I'm always up for trying something new.

My friends and family are an incredibly important part of my life. I've known most of my friends for over a decade. I still have the childhood friends I grew up with. My family is filled with wonderful, caring, eclectic people. I really appreciate spending time with this wonderful mix of diverse, interesting, smart, funny, and amazing people.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm working a local community college helping students and attending the London School Of Economics online.

Outside of my career, I'm building upon all my meaningful social connections, cooking, reading, doing art, and pursuing personal interests.
I’m really good at
Written By wolfman_crack:

Taking up totally indefensible philosophical positions and arguing them, cooking, driving and cheering people up.

If there is one word to describe him, it is consistent. He has been an awesome friend to me for going on 15 years now, something which I have not made easy. He is clean, well read, generally unpretentious, a good roommate, and awesome cook.

Food)
Cooking is one of my favorite forms of art and an important skill / value in my family. I began cooking at 8, became my aunt's (she's a professionally trained chef) prep chef at her catering company at 14, and I've never stopped cooking.

I had a weekly dinner party with friends for the last couple of years, and some of my dinners are legendary long after the fact. As a friend of mine says "he'll tell you it's going to be served at 8 PM and it's never done before ten, but it's always worth every moment of the wait."

Music)

Life, The Universe, and Everything...

Or just simply things like: politics, governments, economics, history, culture, art, science, sex, philosophy, etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
My house hosts a bi-weekly writers group on Fridays. We also generally host a games night (Dominion, Risk, Cars Against Humanity, etc.) every other Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm an introvert who has become accustomed to being an extrovert.

I generally fall head over heals for the woman willing to make the first move. What can I say? I like confident people!

I'm just as comfortable with monogamy as I am with polyamory.

I like archaic words and sayings.

I am one of those obnoxious people that has decided that they no longer need a car. Fro the most part, I can get where ever I need to by bike or bus.

I'm definitely GGG.

I would like to think that I am pretty open and honest about my life.
