Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Chicagoan by birth, Seattleite at heart. Good balance of
introvert/extrovert. Not super sporty outdoorsy, though I do enjoy
spending time outside -- a weekend camping, a day hike, walk on the
coast or just digging out in the garden. Don't let this deter you
-- I'm eager for new adventures, but if something isn't my thing
I'll sit in the lodge while you hit the black diamond or whatever
it's called. As long as we share some commonalities and at some
point come together to share our experiences and support each
other, it's all good.
I love home projects and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I
just finished a remodel on my condo and am ready to have a new
focus, though not sure what that is yet. I enjoy all types of music
and still occasionally catch a live show. Overall, I try to
maintain a healthy lifestyle -- I work out regularly and eat
healthfully. "Try" being the key word here. I'm not perfect by any
stretch of the imagination. If you're into the skinny,
eats-only-lettuce type, I'm not your gal.
In a nutshell, I'm smart, funny, witty, tall and curvy. I read, I
cook, I sing in the car -- badly. I love a good storm -- wind, rain
or snow. I am looking for a partner in crime without actually
committing any crimes. Someone with whom I can share all the things
(good and bad) that are yet to come. Please be relatively close to
the Seattle area. I'm not interested in long-distance
So who are you? You are smart, interesting and witty -- maybe a
little irreverent -- with a keen sense of humor, emotional maturity
and self-awareness. You are comfortable in your own skin. You've
been around the block, maybe had your tires kicked a few times, but
you are no worse for the wear. You're not hung up on the past.
You've figured out your stuff and are looking forward to finding
someone to incorporate into your life. You are serious about the
serious stuff, but your day-to-day philosophy is to find the humor
in the stupidest things.
If anything is this profile made you nod, smile or smirk, let's
talk. Thanks for reading. Best of luck in your search!

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
My job, writing and editing, cooking, parallel parking, making
other people laugh, forgetting the words to favorite songs, being
organized, staying calm under pressure, multi-tasking.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes and skin. I've been told that I don't look my age.

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family, my iPad, a good sports bra, Pepcid AC, electricity,
running water, seltzer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My next vacation, on what island/in what country I will retire,
could I really live in Hawaii, how I should exercise more, how i
should play with my camera more, when I will find love again,
where's my damn iPod!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having a drink or dinner with a close friend(s) or unwinding after
a productive week.
