My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
This might sound kind of stupid, but I'm somewhat of a Rennaissance man. That doesn't mean I go to Rennaissance fairs. I'm just a man of many interests. My primary passion is music, but I'm all over the place really. I like sports, the outdoors, shopping (I know, somewhat of a rarity in men), art, science, cooking. I know a little about a lot, if that makes sense. Anyhow, I consider myself a stable, grounded person with a laid back and playful personality. I'm easy to get along with, but I'm a little selective about who I let get close to me. I have a Siamese Cat. I have my own place. I'm not into too many tattoos, although I'm okay with a few. I'm not desperate to be in a relationship, but I would like to find the right person to spend my life with. I tend to like girls who are not overly materialistic. I'm not planning on jumping out of any airplanes anytime soon. I have never swam with dolphins, but I've heard they have been known to rape people, so I'll probably pass on that too. I find online dating photos to be pretty funny. We all have at least one token photo. I guess mine is the "look and me ladies, I play guitar".
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I do IT work during the weekdays for UCD. I spend most of my free time playing guitars, tinkering on guitars, digging through record stores, watching youtube videos and some Netflix, listening to music, trying to see good live music, hanging with friends, and playing more guitar. I really like music. I went to school for Biology, so I also like nature and being in the outdoors (camping, hiking, etc.). I also like old stuff so thrifting, and going to antique stores is another hobby of mine. It's been awhile since I left the country, so I'm lookin forward to doing some travelling in the near future. Probably Italy and Europe.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing the pentatonic blues scale, rolling my ankles, and then making an awesome recovery. Rock and Roll history. I'm a decent cook, but I'm not really trained. I just make up stuff on the fly, and it usually works out okay. Animals tend to like me.
The first things people usually notice about me

Women tend to notice my eyelashes, and secretly want to cut them off and glue them on their own eyelids. I've been told that when I'm wearing glasses, I look like Jermaine from "Flight of the Conchords" which is kind of a stretch in my opinion. Also, Jim from The Office. Also, people notice that I'm nice and easy to get along with. Also, when I stand up straight, I'm tall.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Road Less Traveled, The Missing Piece Meets the Big O (highly recommended for single people), Steven King stuff, currently reading: Shakey, Neil Young's Biography, Keith Richard's "Life" and the Four Agreements.

Movies: Harold and Maude, Jaws, Night of the Living Dead, Cool Hand Luke, Vertigo, Fistfull of Dollars, To Kill a Mockingbird. Old stuff like that.

Shows: Walking Dead, Ghost Adventures, Dexter, Giants Baseball, A's Baseball in a pinch (I don't watch a lot of Television, I hate that TV tries to sell me something every 5 mins). Recently I've been watching Twin Peaks.

Music: All over the map, but mostly in the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's. I've been wearing out old Merle Haggard Records recently. Neil Young, Black Keys, Mother Hips, Dr. Dog, Led Zep, Otis Redding, Marty Robbins, Don Gibson, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Allman Bros, Ryan Adams, Wilco, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Zombies, Animals, Fleetwood Mac, Gregory Isaacs, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, The Byrds, etc... Not to sound to snobby, but I'm usually not into what is commercially popular like modern country or pop (they are kind of one in the same to me). For example, you probably won't ever catch me at a Jason Aldean, or Monsters and Men show.

Food: Pineapple, stuff with coconut in it, BBQ, and Mexican food of course! I'll pretty much eat anything, but I actually try to eat a healthy diet. I don't do well with gluten, so I try to avoid it.
