What I’m doing with my life
I work in the IT at UC Davis during the weekdays. I spend most of my free time playing guitars, tinkering on guitars, digging through record stores, listening to music, trying to see good live music, hanging with friends, and playing more guitar. I really like music. I went to school for Biology, so I also like nature and being in the outdoors (camping, hiking, etc.). I also like old stuff so thrifting, and going to antique stores is another hobby of mine.
I’m really good at
Playing the pentatonic blues scale, rolling my ankles, and then making an awesome recovery. Rock and Roll history. I'm a decent cook, but I'm not really trained. I just make up stuff on the fly, and it tends to work out okay. Animals tend to like me.
The first things people usually notice about me
Women tend to notice my eyelashes, and secretly want to cut them off and glue them on their own eyelids. I've been told that when I'm wearing glasses, I look like Jermaine from "Flight of the Conchords" which is kind of a stretch in my opinion. Also, Jim from The Office. Also, people notice that I'm really nice and easy to get along with.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Road Less Traveled, The Missing Piece Meets the Big O (highly recommended for single people), any kind of field guide, Steven King, currently reading: Shakey, Neil Young's Biography, and Keith Richard's "Life".

Movies: Harold and Maude, Jaws, Night of the Living Dead, Cool Hand Luke, Vertigo, Fistfull of Dollars, To Kill a Mockingbird. Old stuff like that.

Shows: Walking Dead, Ghost Adventures, Dexter, Fast and Loud, Giants Baseball, A's Baseball in a pinch (I don't watch a lot of Television, I hate that TV tries to sell me something every 5 mins).

Music: All over the map, but mostly in the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's. I've been wearing out old Merle Haggard Records recently. Neil Young, Black Keys, Mother Hips, Dr. Dog, Led Zep, Otis Redding, Marty Robbins, Don Gibson, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Allman Bros, Ryan Adams, Wilco, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Zombies, Animals, Fleetwood Mac, Gregory Isaacs, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, The Byrds, etc...

Food: Pineapple, stuff with coconut in it, BBQ, and Mexican food of course! I'll pretty much eat anything, but I actually try to eat a healthy diet. I try to limit my gluten intake (except beer, It's a vice).

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I'm going to become a Rock Star. I will settle for a garage band for now.
On a typical Friday night I am
Looking for new records, discovering new music, seeing a show, hanging with friends, or playing music at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like baths, and I like to sing whilst in a bath. Bathrooms have the best acoustics!
