I moved to the city a year and a half ago, and it was truly one of
the most awesome decisions I've ever made. I haven't eaten nearly
enough pancakes though! Still, been having an awesome time, but
still looking for suggestions and new ideas of awesome things to do
here, though I've been been keeping busy. Still...suggestions,
I think I've decided that my new hobby will be finding new hobbies!
Wait, does GroupOn count as a hobby?
Life here is awesome, and dating has been fun, but I'm ready to
meet a partner in crime to share it all with. That doesn't mean I
want to stop having awesome experiences, I just want some company
along the ride! I am very happy to be living my life right now, and
want to share that with someone right now! Also, I want to never
write another paragraph as corny as that one ever again (read on,
the rest can't be nearly as bad...hopefully!)
I appreciate Seemless Web and Pandora. I like that the internet
exists. I love running in Central Park, even if it is way less
frequent than I wish. I also am lately obsessed with taking the
stairs in any tall building I visit/work in. I don't eat a lot of
junk food, but was bummed when Hostess filed for bankruptcy
(childhood memories die hard). I like scrabble and staying out a
little later than usual drinking with friends, but I have great
credit and am very ambitious career-wise. Lover of chocolate,
music, quality TV and movies. I visit IMDB often. Take me to some
bar trivia, I will help you win, I know some veeeery random things.
I appreciate grammar, so misspelling one of the previous words was
actually hard on me. I enjoy running and take the stairs over
elevators whenever I can lately. I rock cross-word puzzles and
logic games, and enjoy girls that laugh at bad jokes, puns, and
sarcastic remarks. Big fan of comedy. I'm always looking for a new
hobby or experiences, and people to join me in such activities.
Sometimes I do standup, lately I randomly do Improv. I am getting
back into art and painting, and realizing I'm kinda still pretty
awesome at it. I enjoy a tasty beer (big fan of IPA's, lets go to a
brewery!). Sometimes I write plays, sometimes I do stand-up. I love
the city. Dating and meeting people has been awesome, but I'm all
about meeting someone kickass to date seriously, because I'd love
to experience all this fun awesome city/world/life stuff with
someone else, and I am looking for a partner to join me in some
crazy adventures. Did I mention in the absence of a real plan, I'd
love to just relax at a random dive bar, abuse the juke box, and
just talk all night. Oh, and people watching, writing, creating,
and composing sarcastic comments and rants are def on the menu.
Also, sexual chemistry/openness and physical compatibility are also
really important to me. I'm basically a lot easier to get to know
in person than on a computer....just saying. Though having an
iPhone helps. :)
Also, kind of on a kick to become a better person and all that lame
jazz...I think it is good to strive for self-improvement and that
fun stuff every now and then. I mean, better than having the exact
opposite goal is what I say! Though that would be an interesting
PS: My office gets a lot of sunlight. If I text you and I tell you
excitedly that.. "I have lots of widows!!!!!"....please chalk it up
to a bad spell-check mishap. Just saying.
What I’m doing with my life
I haven't eaten pancakes in awhile but I miss it. I'm always
striving to feel inspired and creative, and love connecting and
having fun with new people. I code, think logically, and can
predict the future behaviors of others around me to a frightening
degree of accuracy (seriously, ask me about it). I am obsessed with
hearing about other people's jobs; I always find that interesting.
I work at a pretty famous institution and I use a combination of
crazy logic, strategy, and sexy coding methods to make this place
more money. Made a upward career shift recently but think I need to
shoot for another leap just to keep things interesting! My friends
are very important to me, yet I am also very interested in
expanding my circle of friends. Every couple years I immerse myself
in a different artistic medium, and right now I'm trying to figure
out what the next "thing'"I want to try. Right now it seems to be a
tug of war between Improv comedy, sketch writing, and 3D modeling
and fine art. Thinking of expanding my physical hobbies as well.
Wondering if I'd enjoy tennis...never played but curious. Used to
swing dance and kinda am curious to get try that again. Mostly I
just want to find someone great to try all this stuff out with.
Also, I've been itching to travel again, hardcore, so looking for
some company on that front as well! Lots of vacation time coming
I’m really good at
Making people laugh. Creating something where nothing existed
before; I've written/directed plays, performed standup comedy,
produced art and developed computer/software programs. I can make a
mean grilled cheese. I know some excellent wine bars, or craft beer
spots. I can walk into a party and tell you who will hook up with
who. I can talk whiney people out of complaining (too much). I am
into showing the person that I am with that I care about them
emotionally and sexually, but...you know...in kind of a cool,
not-so-lame-all-the-time kinda way. I can find a fun and random
date for us. Also, you'd be surprised at how many famous people I
don't know. Like...there are a LOT of famous people I don't know.
We should discuss.
Also, I'm quick with a sarcastic jab if that's your thing...
I don't know any magic tricks...so if you hate magic, I'm your
I also basically kick ass in Chess, Scrabble, and Six Degrees of
Kevin Bacon. Just saying...
The first things people usually notice about me
Hmmm...not sure. My Eyes? Cool glasses? Eclectic T-shirts? I stole
all your good OK Cupid profile lines? I'm eating pancakes at
midnight or at least trying to get to some? I'm pretty obsessed
with my iPhone....actually, that is probably one of the first
things people notice.

Readily available coffee on a weekday morning
Intelligent and Genially fun and free-flowing Conversation
People that point out that your shoelaces are untied and act like
they just saved your life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How much easier and more efficient my life would be if I were a
morning person. Also, which profile picture I should make my "main"
picture! Yeah....life is hard... :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying to catch up with friends. Drinking quality beer or a glass
or wine. Friday nights haven't been 'typical' lately.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If you have a cool quote, line, or reference in your profile, I'll
probably steal it. I'm not proud of this.
You should message me if
You dig my profile and want to find out more about me; you enjoy
intelligent, silly, or sarcastic conversation; you want to hang out
and chat in person; you enjoy grabbing a drink and making fun of
people; you are intrigued. I'm more easy to get to know in real
life than on the computer I think, and I'm pretty awesome.
