I’m from New Orleans originally, but with the weather, beauty and liberal culture I’ve found here in SF, it’s hard to think I’d ever move back (sorry Mom). Snagged an adorable apartment in the Lower Haight two years ago and despite having one (or two or three) roommate too many, the rent control and view from the roof makes it incredibly worthwhile. I'm grateful.

I work at Nielsen doing market research for the mobile industry (same guys that do the TV ratings). Once upon a time I was supposed to be a psych professor but surprisingly I've found myself in the business world and really liking it.

Poker (they always underestimate a girl - use it to your advantage! Dark sunglasses help.) Conversation. Enjoying lazy Sundays. Locating free TV on the Interwebs. Discovering new views around the city.

Music: I must be getting kind of old because my music taste seems to be stuck in the 90s and earlier. Insert old-school faves like Motown, The Beatles, Counting Crows, Ben Folds, Regina Spektor, Sara Bareilles, and Ani DiFranco...that one song by Gotye

TV: Modern Family, Lost (I was one of those..), Friends, Mad Men, Six Feet Under. I recently watched both seasons of HOMELAND and loved it. Oh and Downton Abbey! So good.

Food: I'm an omnivore, but I like eating food that makes me feel good. Genre-wise, I love Indian food, Sushi, and Italian (who doesn't?). And as much as I love it here, man do I miss me some Texas BBQ (lived in TX for a few years post-college) and good Jewish deli.
