Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an idealist who tries to hold on to the joy and beauty found in
the quiet moments of our lives. My obnoxious optimism is the only
way I know how to be. I also have my pensive dark moments where I
would love to stay in bed and ignore the horrors going on in the

I would love to live in an intentional community where a group of
people own the land in common and practice sustainability. I want
my own hut though. I need my space!
Interesting fact: I’m horrible at sarcasm. It’s rather funny
actually. Sometimes I wish a red light would go off when people are
being sarcastic. So, if you see me squinting my eyes and looking
glazed over I’m trying to figure out what you're saying. It always
makes for an interesting time when I’m hanging with the sarcastics.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a creative writing teacher for a group for 2E kiddos online. I
also write for a comic book website. For a writing gig it's a lot
of fun. When the planets align just right I also write for a
writing website. In the process of looking for more work. (I know
this profile is riddled with typos and stuff. Over time they will
I'm in grad school for Special Education. It's been uber difficult
in general to meet people in Eugene. So, I'm back on here with the
hope of meeting cool friends to hang out with that live in the
area... and, well, romance too. Also looking for a workout buddy.
One of my goals is to be more active and enjoy the many ways one
can move their body. Big fan of Nia if you want to try out a
I am also into a lot of woo woo stuff. I used to do energy healings
and clearings with a meditation group back in Denver. I loved it.
Meditation has helped my anxiety two fold.
I also used to do paranormal investigations with a group in my
undergrad. I had a couple of interesting experiences. I try not to
get to dogmatic about my beliefs as new science and experience
informs my fluid brainess or at least I aim to be this way anyway.
I don't always succeed. But basically question everything and if
new information is presented consider it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I make for a really good teacher and it's what I love to do.
Working with kids' creativity is my passion. I love watching the
wheels in their heads turn.
I feel that I'm a good listener. It's something I've really focused
on developing over the years.
I'm good at generating ideas and solutions to problems.
I'm good at the RPG and LARPing activities.
Creative, intuitive, insightful...
Really good at spoiling a movie :(
and talking more than I need to.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Physical: Got the brown hair and blue eyes.
Non physical: A little shy at first, awkward, talk a lot and
quickly, I notice lots of things all once. Talk with my hands.
Stuff like that I expect.
I snort when I laugh. I guess people find it endearing.

I'm a fan of fantasy and Science fiction anything really. Here’s
what I like. It’s not really limited to what I list though.
Books: Name of the Wind, Wise Man’s Fear (Favorite books at the
moment), Graceling, Anne McCaffrey, Lynn Flewelling, Mercedes
Lackey, Octavia Butler, Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut, Philip K.
Dick, Jane Austen, Tanya Huff, Margaret Atwood.
Just read Saga: Fracking brilliant!
Currently: Hemlock Grover, OITNB, Orphan Black...
And (I seem to watch too much shit) Firefly, Buffy, Angel,
STAR TREK (all of them) And when I mention Star Trek you need to
know that I'm obsessed! I have watched most seasons over and over
again. The Trek is usually my background noise. I also have all
these article ideas. Hell I have articles online about the trek.
Thought I'd let you know, since it continues to be an important
part of my life.
X-Men(90’s cartoon), Pushing daises, being human, 3rd Rock from the
sun, Sex and the City (guilty), Sliders, True Blood, Torchwood,
Doctor Who (David Tennent and previous) , Stargate,
My favorite movie still seems to be Bladerunner. I just love it. I
also love Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. Since I read a lot I
gave up going to movies that are based on the books. It’s not worth
the asshole that comes out when I go. Though, there have been a few
good book to movie adaptations I like. Harry Potter and Time
Machine come to mind.
I'm not really picky with my music. It all depends on the mood I’m
in. I do have a soft spot for sad love songs that make me cry and
angry 90’s music. Some songs have a better ability to stop me in my
tracks than others. In my opinion, I feel Hallelujah was the best
song ever written.
That’s all that I can think of at the moment.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Touch: It's a big deal!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything. Does it really matter? Imagine a beehive in the
crossroads of a multiverse and you may have an idea of what the
inside of my brain looks like.
Vulcan mind melds... Betazoid empathic telepathy wishing these were
ways I communicated
Remember those days when you were a young one. All you had to do
was go up to that random kid in school who had a buffy lunch box.
"You like buffy... I like Buffy... LETS BE FRIENDS." I miss that.
Don't get me wrong I don't want to relive adolescence, but
sometimes adults lack of whimsy bothers me.
FEMINISM: Maybe if I bold this somewhere I can get a few less
people to respond in clearly misogynistic ways or not at all.
This doesn't even cover what I think about on the daily.
Like... do the words whore and hoarder somehow have the same
etymological history... need to look this up.

If I get one more: "So you seem like a nerd but I gotta ask..." I'm
jut going to imagine chopping you dick and shoving in up your ass.
This fake geek/nerd misogyny has gotta stop. I'm not here for you
to pelt with a million and one trivia questions for your amusement.
Why not just geek out to a fandom we both mutually love.
Also, I'm NOT poly. I've thought of it and have several friends who
are. It's not for me. I want one romantic partner. However, if
you're looking for a PLATONIC pal I'm your woman.
Also, I reserve the right to be picky. If I don't respond that's my
choice as it's yours. I have no qualm blocking you if you get
stalkery, rude, or disrespectful. I have a tendency to respond on a
whim of intuition, so if I don't respond it's not personal. I send
a lot of messages of out myself. Many don't respond. Totally okay.
Dating is totally a numbers game.
