If I was weather I would be sunny spells with a small chance of showers.
I have an interest in pretty much everything. So in truth I am most happy when learning or practicing almost anything. I have a silly amount of hobbies.
When I'm not at work I still tend to hang around the workshop. Making things and fiddling.
I do a bit of music. I've been playing for about 13 years and I also make noisy electronic sounds. Bleeps and wobbles.
I'm currently a little obsessed with furniture and light design, Robin Day, Phillip Glass and Portico Quartet.

By day I make bespoke furniture, by night I slowly cultivate plans to set up my own design studio.

I also do a bit of teaching (DIY and carpentry) and the occasional lighting/sound job.

I seem to have spent far too much time recently playing my (sporadic at best) 7" vinyl collection at the wrong speed. I pretend they're new and interesting Dub tunes. The theme from Rawhide and Killer by Adamski seem to be particularly good for this.

Inane facts, getting splinters, removing said splinters and sharpening pencils in increasingly elaborate/dangerous ways.

Multiple strangers have gone out of their way to tell me I remind them of Eddie Izzard. I have no clue why.

There should be a whole section for radio/podcasts. I'm an absolute sucker for Radio 4 and 6 Music. The Bugle, Comedy Bang Bang, 99% invisible, Wittertainment and WTF keep me sane when I have to spend prolonged periods of time alone in the workshop.

I genuinely love a really, really nice salad. Sushi and Greek food aren't far behind. Anything aubergine based is full of win.
I also punctuate my days with good coffee. So much coffee.

I don't really have many things I couldn't do without.
I do enjoy cleaning my teeth, I would be very annoyed if I had to live with furry knashers, so maybe a toothbrush.
I also enjoy having an iPhone, its obviously a complete luxury but its like having my very own Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy in my pocket.
