Good-natured, open-minded woman with a zest for life. I enjoy new people and new experiences, especially those that stretch my mind. I prefer to keep my life stable and do my best to focus on the positive.

I'm not particularly looking for a serious relationship. I'd like to find a dinner partner, traveling companion, maybe but not necessarily more. Intelligence, positive attitude, sense of humor all turn me on. Only criteria that is "set in stone" is sharing my belief in treating others the way you would want to be treated.

Working, playing, laughing, learning. I have several avocational projects going and look forward to retirement so that I can spend more time on them.

Genealogy. I enjoy making connections with living relatives as well as tracing those that are long gone.

Living in Bloomington, Indiana gives me opportunities to partake of many of my favorite things. I'm a huge fan of Americana music, and while I'll travel to see a favorite artist a lot of times I don't need to, because they'll come through here. Right now I have the Guy Clark tribute album and a couple of James McMurtry CDs in my player.

I enjoy the various ethnic restaurants we have here, as well as the basic burger or pizza options. Locally owned trumps the chains.

Books run the gamut from fantasy/sci fi through serious non-fiction. Movies pretty much the same, though I'm likely to stay home and stream them on Netflix than go to a movie theater.
