Hello! I'm in the Chicago suburbs as a preschool teacher, and yes, that IS where I want to be. Teaching is my passion in life, and working with the really young kids is as wonderful as it gets. I'm obsessed with music as well as movies, tv, and reading. I absolutely love being with friends no matter what we're doing, even if it's just talking over coffee. I'm addicted to junk food, especially anything chocolate and ice cream. I love cats and would love to own two or three but at the moment I only have one psycho cat whom I love dearly. I love my family and my friends who are like my family. I constantly text people during the day just to say hi which I'm sure makes me fairly annoying to my friends :)

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I currently teach a Preschool For All program in a private daycare, so I'm working with 3-5 year olds. I recently graduated from college with a certificate in early childhood education. I will be going back to school this fall to receive a special certificate in order to teach preschool in a school district. Other than that, I don't do much outside of work besides work out sometimes and go to my pilates class to help stay slightly in shape.

I'm really good at Propose an edit

Teaching is something that I'm not only good at, but it's what I love as well. Working with children has been a love of mine for years. I used to sing, dance a little bit, and did some acting in school, but I don't get to do it very often anymore. Pilates is something I'm decent at even though I'm nowhere near being an expert.

Music: Musicals such as Wicked, Phantom of the Opera and Rent, Bon Jovi, Simple Plan, Paramore, Plain White Ts, The Beatles, John Mayer, Fall Out Boy, Norah Jones, Anna Nalick, Gavin DeGraw, Steve Miller Band and recently I've started listening to Led Zeppelin. I have very eclectic tastes

Food: Pizza, pasta, chicken, veggies, fruits, chocolate, ice cream (especially Cherry Garcia)

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

A lot of my time is spent thinking about work! I have lessons to plan and newsletters to write and meetings to go to and children to engage each and every day that they are in my classroom. I always think about my friends and constantly call or text them to see what they're up to and chat.

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Friday nights usually find me at home with my family just relaxing. After a week of teaching I'm usually worn out. If I'm not with my family, I'm with my friends either out for dinner or drinks or even sitting at someone's house watching a movie and talking.

I'm a very shy person, so I normally don't take the initiative to get to know others.
