I moved to DC in 2009 from the great state of North Carolina to get a Master in Legislative Affairs. While NC is the greatest state, DC isn't a state so it can be greatest too.

I'm a bit of a nerd and have a deep passion for politics. Which means I like books, sci-fi and intelligent random conversation about any topic. I have a great sense of humor although it is laced with sarcasm and witticisms and puns. I have a pretty mellow personality but that rarely stops me from wanting to try new things. I am ambitious, driven, and love to laugh.

My faith is really important to me and I try to actively live that out though by no means am I perfect at it.

I have a bit of antipathy towards answering things like this since I don't think it really gives a good idea of the person. Messaging if interested works better in my opinion.

I work at the Association of American Law Schools, as the registration coordinator which in practice means coordinating the registration of faculty for all of our meetings and making sure the registration processes sync well with the meeting planning. I get to be a change agent in promoting a new more technology driven way of looking at registration and that is really exciting for me. Looking to move into working in politics which is my passion.
