Books: La Rochefoucauld is my favorite aphorist; Nietzsche a close second. Though Marcus Aurelius and Seneca had more to say about living a decent life. With each passing year, I tend to value that more than wit. Also, Calvin and Hobbes are (is?) fun to read.

Movies: This usually depends on my mood. Lost In Translation gets thrown in about every other month or so for about ten minutes at a time.

Shows: VICE documentaries on YouTube, C-SPAN, and cartoons.

Music: Whatever I get introduced to at parties and by friends. These days I'm really into Grimes. I grew up on bluegrass, folk, and gospel so those genres will always have a place in my heart.

Food: Kimchi, burritos, gumbo, mussels, and po'boys.

As a former Eagle Scout; it's a matter of pride that so long as I have breathable air and potable water I'll be fine.

Giving a finite description of the brain's ongoing processes is sorta crazy. Friends, family, and whatever has me interested at the moment.

Out and about or in somewhere and reading.

Haruki Murakami said something about becoming more vulnerable with age and I've found that totally true. The older I get, the more I've become likely to get all teary-eyed during sappy commercials.
