My self-summary
Currently: Traveling around the Great Lakes area collecting ghost stories and taking pictures.

Update: Been away from this for a while. Sorry if I missed your messages! Sorta bad at this thing.

Fun-sized.

Has degrees in Anthropology, Religious Studies, and American Literature. Uses none of these things outside informal conversations.

Loves informal conversations.

Avid but awful ballroom dancer.

Both a day and a night person.

Learning to be more handy around the house.

INTP; if that matters to, or interests, you.

Very chatty.

Recently became an uncle and it's pretty much the best thing ever.
What I’m doing with my life
Grifting, roustabouting, and miscellaneous roguery.

Wrapping up a series of short stories. Plotting out a book.
I’m really good at
Talking about things other than how my day was. Tipping well.
The first things people usually notice about me
Loud noises and unsolicited opinions.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: La Rochefoucauld is my favorite aphorist; Nietzsche a close second. Though Marcus Aurelius and Seneca had more to say about living a decent life. With each passing year, I tend to value that more than wit. Also, Calvin and Hobbes is (are?) fun to read.

Movies: The Station Agent is a favorite. Recently watched The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec and found it thoroughly entertaining.

Shows: C-SPAN and cartoons.

Music: Whatever I get introduced to at parties and by friends.

Food: Kimchi.
The six things I could never do without
As a former Eagle Scout; it's a matter of pride that so long as I have breathable air and potable water I'll be fine.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Giving a finite description of the brain's ongoing processes is sorta crazy. Friends, family, and whatever has me interested at the moment.
On a typical Friday night I am
Forgetting it's Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Haruki Murakami said something about becoming more vulnerable with age and I've found that totally true. The older I get, the more I've become likely to get all teary-eyed during sappy commercials.
I’m looking for
