My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Update: Been away from this for a while; just got back from a Summer spent wandering around the Great Lakes area. Sorry if I missed your messages! I'm sorta bad at this thing.

Being a good uncle is currently the best and most important thing in my life right now.

I'm a very live-and-let-live person when it comes to making friends (though there are some exceptions for egregious examples of moral failure). So regardless of what your beliefs or lifestyle may be, please don't think I won't be able to enjoy your company. I bet you're a pretty awesome person. I spend a fair amount of time traveling and I'm on here to meet cool people and have more friends in the Indy area.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Grifting, roustabouting, and miscellaneous roguery.

Wrapping up a series of short stories. Plotting out a book.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Tipping well?
The first things people usually notice about me

Loud noises and unsolicited opinions.

Books: La Rochefoucauld is my favorite aphorist; Nietzsche a close second. Though Marcus Aurelius and Seneca had more to say about living a decent life. With each passing year, I tend to value that more than wit. I've recently taken a dive in to G.K. Chesterton's writings and LOVE them. Also, Calvin and Hobbes is (are?) fun to read.

Movies: The Station Agent is a favorite.

Shows: C-SPAN, VICE videos on YouTube, and cartoons.

Music: Whatever I get introduced to at parties and by friends.

Food: Kimchi.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
As a former Eagle Scout; it's a matter of pride that so long as I have breathable air and potable water I'll be fine.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Being the best uncle possible. And, to sound sort of square, how to be a good person in actions - not just words.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Forgetting it's Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Haruki Murakami said something about becoming more vulnerable with age and I've found that totally true. The older I get, the more I've become likely to get all teary-eyed during sappy commercials.

My favorite thing is getting together with people and just chatting over drinks. Or not chatting and/or drinking. Just lounging, walking, and/or kicking around with the right people can be great too. So if you like to do those things and I seem like the kind of person with whom you'd like to do them, hit me up.
