I am a compassionate person, I smile and laugh often. I feel things very deeply and look for the positive in every situation. I want a steady companion who will become my best friend. I desire a long term serious relationship that will last until the end of days. I am ready to give my love and in return receive love from the one I can call my Rock.

I've served in the military and done a host of other things in my lifetime. I am currently owner of a successful small business. In my free time I love to paint and explore my artistic gifts. I also on occasion help the less fortunate by volunteering my time for homeless and the hungry.
I love museums, the Arts, Live Entertainment of any kind...comedy shows, plays, concerts etc.
P.S. (Better take this seriously) I don't like Texting!!! It is a deal breaker if I give you my # and you text me to death right off the bat..Prefer a phone call. I understand its based on the situation... like you are in a meeting and it is a super important message that I must be notified of right away...... In other circumstances however, like you just wanting to only converse that way ..I find that to be a turn off. Text can be interpreted/read in the wrong way. Plus I like hearing your voice, your tone and something that takes 3 min to text back and forth could have been spoken in less than 30secs.

(Now this is flippin amazing...even though I wrote all this about being turned off by texting...there are actual men that read it and still just text and not call.!! Then send another text asking why I haven't responded to their 20 text messages..Really.. do I have to spell it out for you..... DO••NOT•••FLIPPN••TEXT••ME! •••IT••IS•••A•••TURNOFF!!)

I like Action and comic book character based movies like Avengers, love any movie that has great visually stunning special effects. I also like offbeat comedy movies like the "The Watch or Superbad". I watch a whole lot of Cop types tv shows " Criminal Minds, Law and Order, The Next 48". "Scandal is my my favorite nighttime Drama. Music I think I like pretty much all of it old scool to new school. Pop, Rock, Soul, R & B, House, Techno, Country, Neo Soul, Classical Alternative etc. I like Dancing With the Stars, The Voice, Love and Hip Hop, Antique Road Show, History Channel, Public Broadcasting channel documentary programs, Cops as far as reality tv goes.
Food...Italian, Soul food/country cooking, Mexican, Japanese, Thai, American etc.. pretty much like all food in general.

Hygiene products, Water, Shelter, my family, a Heat/Air conditioner, Food( GOD is automatically included)

What tomorrow will bring.

Mostly relaxing at home since I work on Saturdays but I will venture out every once in awhile.

If you want a truly good person in your life. If you want a companion that likes to do things and is great company to be around. If you don't want to play games and are ready to have a friendship that will develop into a meaningful loving relationship. If you aren't afraid of finding true love and devotion. If you understand I am not interested in a fling or short term sexual relationship that will lead no where.
