UPDATE: Started a new job. Fingers crossed!

I'll get this out of the way right now. I am between jobs and living with my parents so I can get my life back in order. We also have my father's mother living with us and I help take care of her, as both parents work.

The name is Joseph, but I'm okay with Joe or Joey as well.

Family and friends are extremely important to me. If I call you friend, you have my loyalty. I am honest (to a fault at times) and despise being lied to or being called a liar. I help people with-in my means, and have even gone out of my way to buy a Chicken Fillet for a homeless man. I am a fan of games, so long as they aren't head games or playing with my emotions. I am pretty thick skinned, but am also very sensitive. I often put others before myself, which some times leads to me being used.

I would like to have a family of my own some day (fathering my own children and all that), but right now I know I am not capable of those responsibilities. I am not looking to be taken care of. I want someone who will treat me as an equal and expects the same in return. The only debt I have currently is student loans and a single medical bill for when I broke my shoulder half a decade ago. Again, these are MY debts and I am not looking for a "sugar momma."

I am very much a cat person. I like their degree of independence. Dogs are okay, so long as they are well trained. I love animals, and if I could have it my way, I'd go to the zoo every week.

I've never really been much of the party person, though I do enjoy social gatherings. I have bonfires every summer. I don't drink, I don't smoke, and I don't do drugs. I have partook in each briefly in my life, but didn't find it worth my while. I prefer to date someone who doesn't smoke, but it's not a deal breaker. Drugs, on the other hand.... I do play a lot of video games, but when given the opportunity, I will drop the game and go out to be with friends.

I do not get jealous easy (if I trust the girl) and I am not territorial of the person I date, but the moment they cheat on me, good bye. I have never cheated on anyone I was with and I've never shut them off from having friends (including my own).

UPDATE: I recently got my hair cut shoulder-length, and I love it! Also, I am making great progress with my novel!

The most important thing I am doing right now is looking for a decent job. The sooner I can knock out my student loans, the sooner I can get my life back on track.

I haven't dated anyone in seven years, and I suspect it is because of my living/job status. The only person who seems to be interest in me is an ex who has much to gain by being with me..... There's a reason she is an ex.

Recently, I have been reconnecting with old friends, and my life has been better for it. Though, I always love making new friends as well! So, even if we aren't a romantic connection, maybe we can be friends?

I have a couple of side-projects in the works. I am working on a novel (no details until it is published), trying to get back into photography (could use some free models!), and trying to get into the graphic design field (what I went to school for). Lord willing, I will finish my novel in the next two years and it will make me enough money to get my student loans (the banes of my existence) taken care of.

I am great with children. These are not my words, but what I always hear from others.

In my opinion, I am an above excellent driver. In fact, driving is one of my favorite pass times. Nothing like cruising along, listening to great music with a friend or significant other!

I am great at organizing, when provided with the proper space and materials.

I have been told I articulate myself very well and that I am pretty decent at public speaking (so long as I am not sleep deprived). I do tend to be too honest and forth coming, which some people can't handle. Don't want the blunt truth, don't ask me then.

I look like a biker.... or a thinner Kevin Smith.

Other than that, probably how flirty I am with women. This is unintentional! I guess I'm what you'd call a natural charmer. Trust me, I'm just being nice.

My current favorite reads are the Necroscope series and the Halo series.

I love watching movies! Some of my favorites are "Spirited Away," "Silent Hill," "Willow," and, of course, the ORIGINAL Star Wars movies.

I enjoy watching cooking shows (i.e. Hell's Kitchen, Top Chef, and MasterChef). I am a big fan of "The Walking Dead" and "Game of Thrones." Also, really enjoy "Big Bang Theory," "Two Broke Girls," and "Once Upon a Time."

My favorite musician is Tori Amos! I listen to almost everything, so musical taste is fairly open. There is some music I don't enjoy, but always willing to give it a try if I haven't heard it.

I have a serious sweet tooth. I also enjoy pastas. A good steak is great from time to time.
