My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, let me introduce myself,
I'm Kacey.

I'll tell you what I seek in a person...

Someone intelligent, but not a know-it-all.
Someone bold, but not foolish.
Someone strong, but not arrogant.
Someone who doesn't want to change who they are just to be with someone else.
Someone like me, who knows what they want in life, and aren't afraid of chasing their dreams.
Someone who cares, and is willing to just be there for me.

I would say that I'm loving, and devoted.
I'm a nut, and bit of a freak at times. Sometimes I scare myself, and other times I can't help but laugh at myself. I would much rather die having an adventure than die of boredom. I love reading and can often be found with my nose in some obscure bit of literature. I'm poetic, but tend to forget my lines. Sometimes I find myself caught in the middle of crazy adventures- not sure how I got there, but I'm going along for the ride!

I'm kinda nerdy, and have widely varied interests.
I love to go hiking, camping, fishing, road-tripping, trekking, mountain climbing, and all kinds of down and dirty outdoor things.
I love doing things in my own backyard, including gardening and landscaping. I also love tinkering with mechanical things. I'm always getting my hands covered in dirt or grease from something. Or, I will read or spend time writing or drawing, listening to the radio- and singing along to every song I know. I enjoy watching subtitled films and b-movies. I collect a lot of things including(but far from limited to) Bandannas, walking sticks, toy cars, promotional items, key-chains, keys, rocks and other geological specimens, books, movies(including VHS tapes) refrigerator magnets, National Geographic magazines, unique jewelry, nuts&bolts, and odd nameless gewgaws.
Jumping subjects a bit- I'm really big into metaphysics and other interesting para-sciences. I'm an uber-nerd when it comes to Quantum Physics and love the mind-blowing concept that we are made of essentially "nothing"...
I'm a hippie-dippie dude, and live a hippie-dippie peace-loving life.

Get to know me better-
my artwork and writing can be found there. Enjoy!

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
this question poses a ethical dilemma for me...

can I live without these things?

do I desire them anyways?

that said, the six things I would be lost without are:

animal companions
intelligent conversation

*Yes, I know very well how to live in the world without computers, cars, and other mechanical things, but I love these things anyways and would be devastated if I had to lose them.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once had it openly posted, but I felt like I scared too many people away. If you would like to know, please feel free to ask in private messages. If you are not prepared for the unabashed truth, please, do not ask.

--I have come to the realization that I cannot live alone in this world, but to find someone willing to accept all of the things that make up my unique lifestyle, who can love me with passion and devotion is a daunting challenge... and gets depressing to think about. It is this that likely keeps me away from this website for so long at a time.
