My Self-Summary
I'm pretty much a gamer nerd. I like all kinds of games.
That aside, I'm also very interested in arts and sciences of all
kinds. I'm a fan of history as well. I'm of Irish decent and proud
of it. My religion is called Kemetic Orthodox, and while I
don't do every little thing I should involving it, I am serious
about it. However, I am not one of these "my way is the only way"
kind of people so if people have their own faith, good on
them.
I have a healthy interest in Asian culture as well. The main game I play, Legend of the Five Rings, is based on the myriad Asian cultures. I work in the IT field, but would like to change careers at some point. I have considered biomedical engineering so I can work on mechanical prosthetics for people (yay real life cybernetics!) and also have thought again about looking into genetics.

I have considered going back to school but first need to find the
time/money to do this. That, and I need to decide what I really
want to do. I have so many interests that I can't decide which
would drive me the most.

The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told my eyes, my hair, or my eyebrows. I don't know what
the deal with that is, but I've been told by many people I have
perfect eyebrows.
My beard. That's usually something that people talk to me about. Another seems to be my gauged ears. And apparently my dimple is cute. I dunno about that one.
In the cooler months, people compliment me (a lot) on my Jack Skelington hoodie.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I like anything that can make me laugh or think.
I've only read a few books, but I have enjoyed them all. I recently surprised myself at how much faster I am at reading than I used to be. I simply can't bring myself to skim like most people I talk to. I'm too interested in information to let a word go by.
One of my favorite movies is The American President. I also like The Messanger and The Princess Bride. I think two of the funniest movies I've ever seen are Super Troopers and Euro Trip. Office Space definitely has a place up there too. The Howling (just the first one) is the best werewolf movie ever.
There really are too many to count.
As far as music, I like rock but don't listen to it as often as I used to. I mostly listen to Flogging Molly but also traditional Irish music, also called Trad and worldly music like traditional Japanese or Japanese drums. I'm also a fan of Indian music.
As far as food goes, my favorite is Indian food. I like most things but spicy is something I keep going back to. I try to get chicken korma as often as I can afford it, and get it as spicy as they will make it. The more I go, the more they trust I can handle real spice.

Games. It keeps me from thinking about everything else. Thinking is

Playing a game on my computer or hanging out with friends. I see
friends a lot less often than I would like.

It isn't hard to get me to tell my own private things, but only in
