I am a bit sarcastic at times (my friends would dispute the "at times"). I enjoy photography, reading, music (more rock/alt.country), golf, camping, auto racing (sadly, I must disclaimer this as well. Auto Racing does not necessarily = NASCAR), football (insert obligatory "Go Colts! here), working out, history, and museums. Oh! I have mad skills in the kitchen and on the grill...I love to make my lady dinner. I'm handy with tools, too. I'm a bit of a news junkie. I read newsites for things I'm interested in like it is my J-O-B. I spend five to six days a week in the gym...becoming healthy has become important to me and I have made huge strides in this area.

I can't dance in the slightest. There isn't the slightest bit of rhythm coursing through these veins. I can't sing either. If you've ever heard a duck drowning you come close to my singing ability. When I've had a few too many, I think I'm great at both.

I have a daughter...she is without a doubt my greatest accomplishment. The best times of my life are spent with her. If that scares you, I'm sorry. I'm not looking for a mother for her...she has a good one already.

I work for a freight company...I am an area supervisor over a profit management group...my territory consists of the northern half of the country.

I'm tall. 6'4" give or take 1/2 an inch. I've been told I have a pretty good smile and laugh.

I like to read quite a bit. Vince Flynn, Jeffrey Archer, Clive Cussler, John Grisham, and David Baldacci to name a few. Nostalgia from my school days has found me reading the classics again. For music I tend to lean towards alt.country and rock. My favorite bands are Cowboy Junkies, Over the Rhine, Fleetwood Mac, Lucinda Williams, Ryan Adams, and The Killers. I really don't watch a lot of movies...I used to but don't that much anymore. I don't really know why. Godfather is a classic. Food? Mexican, Italian, whatever.

Whoa...let's not get so personal off the bat.

I originally kept this simple but I guess I need to break it down a bit. I would still like to have more children so if you aren't looking for kids or are too old to have them, we won't work. It is worth mentioning that I am not interested in a long distance relationship out of the Indianapolis area. Respect, honesty, and trust are at the core of any relationship. If you are incapable of achieving those three then I wish you happy hunting. There also has to be some attraction.

Life is ever changing and I have spent enough time wasting it. I have made some wholesale changes to make myself better both inside and out. I'm a simple guy, but I'm not looking for someone that is complacent with life. It is ever moving and ever changing and I won't sit around and watch it.

"Two are born to cross: their paths, their lives, their hearts." I am looking for a mate that wants to share her life with someone else. That doesn't mean we have to do everything together, I definitely believe in nights out with my guys and she should have the same. Um...just not with my guys. That reads wrong.

I want to be there to support her through her successess as well as stand by her through her misfortunes and offer the comfort, peacefulness, and encouragement that I can. I want to roll over in the middle of the night, feel the warmth of her there and in the morning wake up early to make her breakfast before she wakes. I want to laugh over a bottle of wine and 2 hours later look at each other and laugh again at something shared earlier. At the end of a tough day I want to be the one to rub her shoulders if that is what she needs. I want my lover to be my best friend.
