I'm a people-watcher so I like to study personalities. A spiritual thinker, environmentally conscious. I am thankful for every day.

I've been fortunate to have traveled extensively around the perimeter of the states. Somehow, I missed most of the middle. I feel at home on the beach.

I'm happiest when I'm outside with spring being my favorite time of year. To me, there's nothing better than seeing those new little leaves on the trees as I'm riding my bicycle on the trails. I know my way around an art museum and I'd love to have my own metals (jewelry) studio. One day. I can write backwards (like Leonardo DeVinci did) and collect wooden toy tops.

Some of my favorite things are: hearing others laugh, my cowboy boots, a good line dance, animals (my dog), horses, the beach... I enjoy a good cup of coffee on my deck in the morning and glass of Riesling while watching a campfire. I'm very active and find it hard to sit still for long.

I'm really good at figuring out things mechanically (except for the time that I tryed to install a CD player in my Cabrio) and it's weird, I know, but I really enjoy watching tv shows about how things are made. See? I said that it's weird. I also enjoy making things. I successfully made a "kicking legs" Halloween prop for my daughter's party this year. I made it with 2x2s, 2x4s, aluminum straps, some hardwood, a Volvo windshield wiper motor and a portable battery charger.

Love motorcycles and wish that I had one. Now I ride my bicycle for fun. Camping, hiking, day trips, museums, growing orchids are also interests of mine.

I'm a good listener, loyal friend, a great cheerer upper...and I love to bake desserts.

I think about what it would be like to be in a relationship again and all that it entails. Being in tune with a man's feelings and wanting to be his best friend. I miss having a shoulder and in-turn being a shoulder. I miss the long talks, laughs and times of easy silence...intimacy. For as independent and resourceful as I am, I miss being in a relationship.

Making plans for the weekend, relaxing after working all week, or meeting co-workers for dinner. Perhaps loading up my bicycle for a celebratory made-it-through-the-week ride, or taking in a movie. Reflecting on the week while sitting outside at my firepit and sipping on some Riesling.
