Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I find writing my profile to be very difficult. But I guess that's
pretty normal. I will try to cover the basics and hope that it
tells enough about who I am to attract my possible match. Since it
has become more difficult to meet someone at a restaurant, or a
movie, or a friend's house...which are more of the pastimes I enjoy
in my 30s, I'm giving match a try!
I moved to California about 13 years ago from Texas to get to
better weather and live in a place with so much to do and explore.
I'm invigorated by living among beautiful surroundings. I recently
bought a condo in Redwood City near 280. I've been exploring the
hiking spots nearby, and frankly just love looking out my window
towards the bay. I have wonderful friends who I spend a good amount
of time with on the weekends. We've been through a lot together and
I'm very loyal to them. I consider them my family here. I enjoy
going to the farmer's market on a Saturday morning, working on my
house, reading, working out, cooking...all things I like to do by
myself...but would also like to do with a partner. As much as I
enjoy my life today, I feel strongly that it could be even better
with the right person.
So, what am I looking for? Well, I'm looking to find a partner in
life, not a casual encounter. I'd also like to find someone who is
mature and responsible, committed to personal growth and learning,
has integrity and is respectful of others, and has a positive
outlook on life. I want to meet a man who knows how to have fun and
enjoy life, but can also be serious when necessary.
Hopefully if you're still reading, something I've written has
struck a chord with you. Like most people online, I like to travel
(Italy was my last big trip last year...took a cooking class in
Tuscany...AMAZING!), and try new things (I'm into taking classes
here and there...last year I took cooking classes, cheese and wine
pairing, and golf lessons). If you like some of the same things,
send me an email and we can compare notes.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at a pharmaceutical distribution company in the city in
their corporate IT area. I enjoy my job, but I keep a balanced
schedule. I also really enjoy spending my free time hanging out
with friends, working out, checking out new restaurants either
locally or in the city, going to the movies, hiking, and anything
else that sounds fun. I'm excited to see some new hotspots opening
in Palo Alto this year...especially Pizzeria Delfina!
I love to travel, and usually get the itch to travel abroad every
couple of years. When I moved to California from Texas, I decided
to make the most of what the area has to offer. I now enjoy
spending time outdoors in the area, checking out festivals, and
heading to wine country. Last year I took a solo trip to Italy and
had the best time! I took a week long cooking class in between
touring Cinque Terre and Tuscany. Amazing!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

car), my job, being a supportive friend, being a good Aunt

I enjoy a fast paced mystery...perfect beach books. As for movies,
it all depends on what mood I'm in...can't beat a really good
comedy though. I do enjoy watching TV...my favs: Breaking Bad ( so
sad it's over!), True Detective, Game if Thrones. I've been told I
should watch House of Cards and Homeland. I love cooking (or
learning to)...especially home made pasta and grilling!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Hugs from my niece and nephew, chocolate, sunny skies, my friends
support, and airplanes (too many great places to see!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Finding love, what I am going to make for dinner (I love to cook
and found good website that sends me recipes for the week), the
weekend fun ahead! I used to think a lot about buying a house...but
I can check that off!!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
