My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi all. I have been putting this off for awhile here it goes.

I work too much so I thought I would give this a shot. I don't have high hopes for this, but it seems like a low cost way of seeing what is out there. Here is a brief bio, but I swear I am moderately more interesting and funny in person.

I grew up in the Bay Area with my two parents and older sister. I get along great with my family and make it out to the east bay to see my parents a few times a month. My sister just had a baby daughter and I love being an uncle but wish I could see then more (they just moved to Austin).

As for me, I went to UCLA for undergrad. I have been living in San Francisco for the last 9 years (except for a 2 year hiatus in Michigan for grad school). I now work as a product manager in tech and I enjoy it but I'm still trying to figure out what exactalty I want to do with the rest of my life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as the product manager at an education tech startup in Palo Alto.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Doing the dishes (you kind of have to be when you are a terrible cook), trying new things, traveling on a budget
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
No idea. That conversation topic doesn't normally come up
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: the amazing adventures of kavalier and clay, a heart breaking work of staggering genius, the commanding heights: battle for the world economy, world 3.0, Enders game, Enders shadow, and I'm currently reading the 12

Movie: eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, almost anything by christopher nolan, American psycho, tommy boy, wedding crashes, Rushmore, the royal tenenbaums, super troopers

I'm sure I am missing a bunch here

TV: Sherlock, west wing, arrested development, Louie, 30 rock, archer, workaholics, dr. Who, the office (the brittish version, though is like the us version tool), new girl, frontline

Music: nirvana, pearl jam, modest mouse, spoon. LCD soundsystem, alt-j, Cold War kids, arcade fire, broken bells, radical face, Gershwin, silver sun pickups, Vince guaraldi, Edith Piaf, the black keys, spoon, Sudan Stevens, TV on the radio

Podcast: this American life, radiolab, planet money, fresh Ir, pop culture happy hour, marketplace, weekend all things considered, and I used to enjoy the sb report but bill Simmons now officially annoys the shit out of me

Magazines: the economist
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I really don't think there is anything I could do without (besides food, water, shelter, and clothes). For the most part I don't need much to be happy. Give me a good book, a nice park, and a cold beer and I would be good.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Honestly, work. But, when I'm not thinking about work, I'm thinking about, what I am going to do this weekend, where I am going to travel to next, or why everyone on the "news" is yelling.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either at a happy hour with friends, at home with netflix, or traveling to a bachelor party or wedding for the weekend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I haven't proof read my profile yet and I'm a terrible speller. My mom teaches 2nd grade and once when I was in junior high I took one of her second grade spelling test and failed. I'm not even sure I would pass today.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you want to know anything more. Or if there is something cool going on in sf that you want to check out.

I'm not that interested in chatting on here for eternity. If we both find each other attractive and potentially interesting, I would rather just meet in person.
