Fun. Dork. Sarcastic. Witty. Imaginative. Confident.

Those are six words that desribe me. I grew up in the Bay Area, Marin specifically, and have been living in San Francisco for eight years now.

I enjoy hiking, the beach, being with friends, taking walks in GG Park, wine tasting or just getting cozy on my couch with a movie. I am pretty easy going and will try almost anything once.

I go to bars. Not so much clubs. My favorite drink is a Ketel on the rocks.

Working hard at a new job (may 2013) and living it up otherwise.

laughing, sarcasm, technology, quoting movies ("you shut your mouth when you're talking to me" anyone??), and making scrambled eggs.

Salt and pepper hair - people can never guess my age.

I hate this section because it always changes. I like all types of music (minus Country). Yes that includes rap. I also rock(ed) a Zune!

Movie wise I grew up in a household where Arnold Schwarzenneger flicks were in the VCR earlier than they should have been. With that in mind there is something nostalgic about 80s action flicks.

On the other side of the coin, whenever Shawshank Redemption is on TBS I am instantly glued to the couch.

Update 10/29: - I recently ditched cable so no more channel surfing! Netflix/Hulu/Xbox only!

Recent movies that stand out are Dark Knight, The Hangover, Inception, and Black Swan. I want to see Captain America and Thor real bad. Could be a deal breaker for you :) ...

Update 10/29: saw them both and then avengers blew my mind (okay just my senses). Dark Knight Rises was fantastic and the last movie I saw was Argo. Very well done. Iron Man 3 was a return to form. Stand up guys was the last movie I saw and was great.

I love sushi. There is a happy hour on the embarcadero that has 5$ rolls and 5$ cocktails. Chances are I am there. I also like to cook and am getting better.

Prosciutto. Salami --> Necessities.

I will read any book someone recommends. My favorite series is George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" (and now most of you are discovering it for the first time on HBO!!!). It sounds super nerdy but it's great. My most recent read was Gone Girl. Now I'm reading a book about Achilles, but it turns out to be more of a gay love story between Achilles and his friend patroclus. Not what I was expecting but pretty good!
