I am smart and confident. I am also very even keel and accepting.
I am big on loyalty and once read that people born in the year of the dragon hold loyalty as one of their highest virtues. If that is so, it fits.
The biggest enemy a person has is their fears. Overcoming them is our challenge.
Live every day as though it is your last, and nothing is impossible.
I am definitely still figuring it out, but there was a big period of my life where I wasn't trying new things for many different reasons... and as a result, I wasn't really finding out about myself.
I am currently a partner in a growing residential and commercial remodeling company. I learned the business from my father and I am growing my business because I see it as the best path I have towards financial growth.
However, I have also found that I have a talent for business and company building. I have a strong vision for my company and I want to see it fulfilled.
What I am not currently doing but I eventually want to do is to Own and be the artistic director of my own community Theater. I have always loved being part of theater. I act and sing. As a matter of fact, I recently got to be in The Producers! That was a lot of fun. Theater definitely makes me happy and I plan to keep it and grow its presence in my life.
But my first focus is currently my business.
I like to play devil's advocate and see both sides of situations. Maybe that's my Gemini traits.... don't know about that... but it is fun to think about. :)
I am an excellent actor and good singer. I am good at problem Solving & Planning, Computer trouble-shooting and other technology related things.
Lastly, I love learning. If I don't know how to do something, I will find out how.
This may seem like a strange thing to admit on an online dating site... but I am what they call Stray... a strait man who sets off your Gay-dar.
This is probably because I am vocal, animated and expressive. I am loud, friendly and fun. Especially if you put a few drinks in me.
I actually read a interesting article on it... you can read it here.
But truthfully, I'm just being me and I'm fine with that.

The Dance and the Railroad (David Henry Hwang), --- This is a one act Play I directed in University. It has all kinds of challenging acting elements and I love the story of two Chinese Railroad workers and their dreams.
Blade Runner, -- Amazing Sci-Fi based off Philip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" The main reason I like it is it asks the question "What does it mean to be alive? And can machines be like us?
As Good as it Gets, -- I at times in my life have related to Jack Nicholson's Character. The clip below is one of my favorite movie scenes.
Stranger than Fiction -- For similar reasons, I have related at times in my life to Will Ferrell's character in this movie. Plus the movie has literary elements that as a former English Major I love. But, most of all, there is one scene in this movie that pretty much sums up my feelings about romance... This is it.
Big Fish -- Father's and Sons. Life and Death. The story of your life. One of my favorite movies of all time.
The Princess Bride -- As you wish.

I think about EVERYTHING. If my brain had an off switch, that would be awesome.
I love to think. But, I have learned, through hard lessons, how to quiet my mind. I have spent some time learning about mindfulness and acceptance. I have read books on thinking, psychology and the mind.
Our brains are thought generators. The trick is to not believe everything you think. :)
Be still, let thoughts flow through you without judging them. That is the biggest thought lesson I have learned in my life.
I like to be social with good people. I like to have good food and perhaps play apples to apples or cards against humanity. Movies are always a good option too!
Good company is the most important thing... that and a sense of adventure.
