My self-summary
--Everyone's doing it, and I suppose I let peer pressure get to me. ISTJ or DGLD. Whichever piques your interest more.--

I like meeting new people. I enjoy music; both playing it and listening to it. I tend to be big on using correct grammar. I have corrected my friends a few too many times.

By the way, I get deathly afraid when I have to call someone. I'm less afraid when I meet someone in person for tge first time. I don't know, I just dread phone calls. So let's work our way up to tgat, sound good?

If you want to get to know me, the best way is by just randomly talking to me. I'm pretty quirky, but I'm not too complex. I might be funny, if you overlook the fact that I enjoy the jokes in the Sunday Comics section. I may look calm on the outside, but I'm probably in my own world on the inside. So yeah, I don't mind surprise attacks, but some people freak out when you randomly talk to them...so just get at me.

Also, I kinda don't care how your answers compare to mine. Certain answers are a must. But other than that, why should I determine how I want you to respond? You be yourself, I'll be myself, and we'll be golden. (Not to mention, most of my answers are ancient and probably have changed since. I'm definitely willing to budge on most of them anyway.)
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from the University of Toledo in December of 2011. And, like most graduates, I'm probably going to do junk work until I get to a career that suits me.

I'm working on starting a band, or rather, getting all of the members together at the same time.

My most recent endeavour is simple: not be so long winded. I over-analyze, over-explain, and don't know when to shut up. So if you aren't prepared for long conversations, come back later. Hopefully I don't bore you in the meantime.
I’m really good at
Not talking about myself. I try to be the least egotistical that I can be...unless I am joking around/playing some Halo. But this whole profile is supposed to be me rambling on about myself (please don't think of me as a hypocrite just yet).

I am also good at avoiding recognition. It's not something I like, so I hide.

I'd like to think I'm good at reading people. But who knows for sure?

I'm an idiot. Just because you are "smart," doesn't mean you can't be "dumb." I think that says enough.
The first things people usually notice about me
I wish people didn't look at me. I'd love to become invisible at will.

I look like Link.

How should I honestly know? It probably has something to do with how bland I look. That, or the dark lines under my eyes?

On second, or third, thought.... I'm pretty sure it's my teeth. I don't have perfect teeth, but they certainly aren't jagged or anything. I just have some small-ish gaps between my top front teeth. Some people like that, I can't say I'm one of them though. But seeing as I don't have to look at myself ever, we're golden.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
~BOOKS~ The Eyre Affair-Jasper Fforde, Magical Mystery Tours: My Life with the Beatles-Tony Bramwell

(I prefer books to the internet, but I do have a nigh unlimited subject selection up there.)

~MOVIES~ REPO! The Genetic Opera, Star Wars, Sweeney Todd, Across the Universe, TRANSFORMERS, The Dark Knight, Wanted

~SHOWS~ Metalocalypse, Mythbusters, South Park, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Tosh.0, American Chopper, Family Guy, American Dad, King of the Hill, Jeopardy

~MUSIC~ 10 Years, Foo Fighters, Tenacious D, Stephen Lynch, Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dio, Bush, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Apocalyptica, Metallica, Carly Rae Jepsen, Taylor Swift, Sugarcult

~FOOD~ I am a vegetarian. But most any type of food is good...although I am not a fan of mashed potatoes or Mediterranean food.
The six things I could never do without
Music, guitar, inspiration, and a snarky misdemeanor.

(And the other things? You can fill that in for yourself.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Music, life, religion, and the pursuit of happiness.

Words are everything and nothing. They are all I have, but don't amount to anything meaningful. Some words gravitate towards me, and I to them. They are completely intangible, yet some words hold the weight that determines the future. They affect our world, our selves; but oftentimes for the worse. It isn't about what you have to say, it's about how well you're willing to listen.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working. Every Friday ever!

It's rough on my non-existant social life.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Most everyone has parent issues, so I won't bore you with that.

I sometimes take on tasks that I can't handle, and lose faith in myself in the process.

I also think that I am harboring some sort of resentment for myself. It could be a result of not wanting to end up like certain people, the things I probably shouldn't have done, or a means to keep my ego in check. Either way, I wouldn't change anything. What's done is history, and any changes would alter the pretty alright person I am at this moment.

I pretty much hate all current pop music. But I LOVE!!!! "Call Me Maybe!" I can't explain it, I'll just live with it.

(I keep coming back to this section. I want to spill more, and I can't figure out why. Oh well, I'll refrain from scaring you off now!)
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 19–25
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
If you feel like it. I am easy to get along with, and I'm all for making new friends. Or, if you want to know more about me. I guess the biggest reason to message me, is the thrill of talking to someone new and hopefully exciting.

Also, I realize this is the internet. That said, please try to use correct-ish grammar and spelling. You don't have to have a flawless mastery of the language, but closer is better than not.

I really can be funny, interesting, smart, silly, caring, and/or fascinating. I promise. Just give me a chance. In an effort to avoid a "TL;DR" response, I think I'll stop here. If you're truly interested, then why haven't you introduced yourself yet?
