Hello, and welcome to my profile. I guess I'll start with a little about me. I'm pretty easy to get along with, although I'm a bit shy. Once I get into a good conversation my shyness isn't a factor.

Fair warning: I am a pretty big nerd/geek, but I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with anything, I merely enjoy spending my free time gaming or reading, etc. Of course I'd rather be with friends than "geeking out." I like playing video games, reading, watching tv (especially hockey), going for a walk on a sunny day, going to the beach, having adventures, and hanging out with my friends, along with a multitude of other things which I can't think of at the moment.

I graduated from UVic in June with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Right now I'm looking for a real job, but I also work part-time at Wal-Mart.

Other than that there's not a lot going on. Hanging out with friends, watching tv, rollerblading, reading, playing video games, etc. All the normal things one of my age would do.

There's not a whole lot of things I'd say I was really good at. But some of the few things are Video games, being awkward, and last but not least listening. My shyness has made me a very good listener over the years. Just be interesting haha.

I wouldn't know, people don't usually mention that kind of thing to me. You tell me what the first thing you noticed about me was.

books: The Kite Runner, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Harry Potter, anything by J.R.R Tolkien (LOTR, the Hobbit, the Silmarillion, etc.) and anything by R.A. Salvatore. I'm a big Sci Fi and Fantasy fan.

Movies: Man, I love a lot of movies. Serenity, Iron Man, LOTR, Scott Pilgrim, Star Trek, Star Wars, Bruce Almighty, Casino Royale, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, V for Vendetta, Fight Club, Zombieland, The A-Team, Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog, a lot more...

TV: Firefly, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Entourage, Castle, Community, South Park, Game of Thrones, Star Trek, Star Gate, Doctor Who, Breaking Bad, Futurama, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Wilfred, Adventure Time are the main ones.

music: I'm not too specific about what music I listen to, but a few bands are: Weezer, Said the Whale, Mother Mother, Metric, Electric Six, Johnny Cash, Taylor Swift, Cage the Elephant, Flight of the Conchords, Lady Gaga.

There's no Video Game category, but there should be so...

Video Games: Halo, Skylanders, Skyrim, Fable , Pokemon, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Mario Kart, Monster Hunter, Metal Gear Solid, Red Dead Redemption, Batman Arkham Asylum/Arkham City, Mario, probably more I'm missing.

Either hanging out with my friends or playing video games, depending on if my friends are free or not. I generally attempt to not do work on Friday's so I have time to do whatever I want.

I really miss having a dog. I haven't had one since the summer I graduated high school, and none of the apartments I've lived in have allowed animals.
