Hey! My name's Kitty, I'm a UNCA graduate. I'd rather sit and play Munchkin, eat pizza, watch silly British television, or go on a picnic at Beaver Lake than make patchouli, go contra dancing, parasailing or mountain biking (I know that's a deal breaker for some people, so I thought I'd get that out of the way). But I love going out on coffee adventures early in the morning (the "where the hell can I find coffee today" kinds of adventures), and musical adventures in the car (Ipod Shuffle Roulette).

I love composing and performing movie/TV show drinking games. I'm interested in an embarrassing number of things (and a number of embarrassing things), primarily sex, Japan, religion, horror movies, comics, colorful cocktails, poetry, cybersex (insert appropriate Felicia Day quote here), and anything Sherlock Holmes related. I'm also a bit of an Anglophile. And a bibliophile. (I phile a lot of things, really.) I've been told that I give koala-hugs, and that that's a good thing.

Right now I'm hoping to go on to grad school for Community Counseling, and then getting a focus in human sexuality. We'll see how that all works out.

Books? Uhoh.

Anything by Neil Gaiman. (Except for Neverwhere, I didn't really like that one all that much.) LOVE American Gods and the Sandman series. The Dresden Files are a ton of fun, and right now I'm reading a lot of Carl Hiaasen books. They're a bit like junk food, honestly. (Basket Case is my favorite) Anything and everything by Joe Hill, Terry Pratchett and Philip K. Dick. I have to be in the right mood for Dick, though. (hee.)

Don't talk to me about Sherlock Holmes unless you want to listen to me blabber for hours. Seriously, hours.* I love the canon, but I'm dangerously indiscriminate about pastiches. Dangerously, because it means I usually end up reading a lot of crappy spin-offs.

I love love love the Granada Sherlock Holmes TV series. Jeremy Brett is fantastic. BBC's Sherlock is my second favorite TV adaptation. It's absolutely amazing. If you've never seen it, we should totally watch it together. If you have seen it, we should totally talk about it.

Um. I'm also really into Supernatural.

*actually, now that I think about it, I'd probably just get really shy. But if you really did act interested, I'd eventually warm up, and then I'd blab for hours. Seriously, I'm the Juggernaut of the ACD universe.
