My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm not sure I'll ever be satisfied with this section. It's a lot easier for you if you just read my answers or ask me questions if you want to get to know me. That being said, I'll still have something here:

I like balance. Balance includes chaos. I can appreciate chaos, if there's balance around it.

I'm a brain. Rational thinking guides me through life. I am emotion. I swim passionately through life's oceans, and do not deny myself the experience of any emotion, good or bad. I've learned that if you try to control emotions, they manifest in places they shouldn't. They try to guide your decisions, and that's not their purpose. Rational thought balanced with uncensored emotions. I'm not even sure I could explain it so easily, and I don't think this paragraph does it justice. If you're really interested, just talk to me about it.

I'm a workaholic -- because I have the time. I enjoy being productive, and fill my free time with work, volunteer work, and side contracts. I always make room for people, though, so when plans are made, work's put aside.

I live on the beach. I think I'll always need the ocean waves. There's something soothing about the ocean that cannot be replicated elsewhere.

I'm done talking about myself here :) I'll send you off with a laugh. Go check out Gilbert Gottfried reading 50 Shades of Gray on the internet. It's pretty amusing ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying it like a rich, peaty single malt whiskey. Sometimes at one million beats per second and sometimes with the stillness of the growing grass.

I'll just leave this here:

"You must approach ignorance and stupidity when you see it and say something about it. If you leave ignorance and stupidity alone, ignorance and stupidity will think it's OK..." --Gallagher, 1981
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Understanding. Problem solving. Troubleshooting. Entertaining. Being a host. Taking risks. Being adventurous and reaching for the sky. Determination. Being stubborn, but not stupid. Being a ninja. Having an imagination similar to someone on drugs without needing the drugs. Self-correction.
The first things people usually notice about me

My beard I suppose. I shave it myself. It's the one thing that gets commented on the most as well as my eyelashes.

Some books off the top of my head that I enjoy:
Albert Camus - The Stranger
Richard Bach - Jonathan Livingston Seagull
Daniel Quinn - Ishmael
William Gibson - Neuromancer
Gabriel García Márquez - One Hundred Years of Solitude
Max Brooks - The Zombie Survival Guide (you're gonna regret not knowing what to do for the outbreak :P)

Here's something I find to be beautiful:

In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure-dome decree:
Where Alph, the sacred river, ran
Through caverns measureless to man
Down to a sunless sea.
So twice five miles of fertile ground
with walls and towers were girdled round;
And there were gardens bright with sinuous rills,
Where blossomed many an incense-bearing tree;
And here were forests ancient as the hills,
Enfolding sunny spots of greenery.

But oh! that deep romantic chasm which slanted
Down the green hill athwart a cedarn cover!
A savage place! as holy and enchanted
As e’er beneath a waning moon was haunted
By woman wailing for her demon-lover!
And from this chasm, with ceaseless turmoil seething,
As if this earth in fast thick pants were breathing,
A mighty fountain momently was forced:
Amid whose swift half-intermitted burst
Huge fragments vaulted like rebounding hail,
Or chaffy grain beneath the thresher’s flail:
And mid these dancing rocks at once and ever
It flung up momently the sacred river.
Five miles meandering with a mazy motion
Through wood and dale the sacred river ran,
Then reached the caverns measureless to man,
And sank in tumult to a lifeless ocean;
And ’mid this tumult Kubla heard from far
Ancestral voices prophesying war!
The shadow of the dome of pleasure
Floated midway on the waves;
Where was heard the mingled measure
From the fountain and the caves.
It was a miracle of rare device,
A sunny pleasure-dome with caves of ice!

A damsel with a dulcimer
In a vision once I saw:
It was an Abyssinian maid
And on her dulcimer she played,
Singing of Mount Abora.
Could I revive within me
Her symphony and song,
To such a deep delight ’twould win me,
That with music loud and long,
I would build that dome in air,
That sunny dome! those caves of ice!
And all who heard should see them there,
And all should cry, Beware! Beware!
His flashing eyes, his floating hair!
Weave a circle round him thrice,
And close your eyes with holy dread
For he on honey-dew hath fed,
And drunk the milk of Paradise.

Kubla Khan
By Samuel Taylor Coleridge

The TV I watch says something about my personality? In that case I mostly watch old TV shows on DVD if I'm watching the TV, otherwise I'll watch informative TV but I don't spend much time on the TV, to be honest. An hour a week if that. Maybe an hour a night on Netflix. If you want a list of what I may be watching on TV that isn't informative or educational, it's probably:
Family Guy
The Walking Dead
PBS Nova (oh wait that's informative and educational ;) )

Music is extremely important to me. Too important to dedicate a small space here to it. I don't really listen to pop music (of the American kind), but I still give it a shot. I enjoy just about everything else, even foreign stuff. Seriously, my collection ranges across all genres of music that I can think of! I'm probably one of the few young drivers of New York City that usually is driving with either Classical music ( or some form of electronic/industrial music, though.

Here, give this a listen. I dare you.

Hopefully you've been moved.

There's no food I love more than home-cooked food. I've had to cook my own food for most of my life, and that's a wonderful thing. Ninjas also like pizza, as those teenage turtles have so wonderfully shown us. I stick to Chicken, Turkey, Tuna, and Salmon for meat, though most of my week is filled with vegan sources of protein (I'll dabble in non-traditional meats for sushi, like eel or other sea creatures), otherwise the rest of my diet is fruit and vegetable based. Oh, and I absolutely adore milk, like a brainwashed child of the big Milk push of the 80's (there's nothing like the smell of a warm glass of milk and a touch of raw honey just before hitting the sack!).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My mind
My heart
My experience
My determination
My passion
My libido
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Laughter. Sometimes I catch myself laughing out loud about something I'm thinking about and people (around me) are either laughing with me or looking at me strangely, which is understandable.
Making math of the universe, of existence, of everything.
Daydreaming, probably about the design of the universe/multiverse.
When I get to see the people that mean the most to me next.
What I've done, am doing, and will be doing next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Looking for parking :( but that means I was either working late and being productive or having a good time with people that matter :)

During the summer, I'm watching fireworks every Friday at Coney Island. During the rest of the year, I'm socially engaging my people or the rest of the planet.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I hope at least one person in the universe remembers me.

I actually respond to messages, maybe not immediately, but I give everyone the decency of a response.

You SHOULDN'T message me if:

You lie to yourself. You can't appreciate life by yourself. You've got some kind of biological clock agenda that you need to satisfy and only need me as a means towards that end. You scare little children and small farm animals.
