I could say a lot here, but it is difficult right now because my life is changing in very big ways. I spent a lot of my life thinking life sucked and I was a poor victim of misfortune. I recently came to realize I have far greater control over my life and my destiny than I ever thought. As I began exercising that control, everything in my life began to change, and this includes my thinking. I am a new man, really looking to enjoy life like never before. I don't know myself as well as I used to but I know who I want to be and I expect to become him.

What I can tell you is, I am very silly, I like having fun and being lighthearted. I am a deep thinker, I know that probably sounds cliche, but I definitely read between the lines in things, and have a lot of curiosity and philosophical musings, though I often keep them to myself.

I am very honest, sometimes brutally. People don't always like hearing the truth, but I think they end up respecting me for it, because not everyone will be so honest.

In this new era in my life I am looking to meet some people to date, make friends, hang out, whatever. I am just trying to rediscover life and see what is out there. I have no specific need to get serious with anyone but if something comes along that feels right I will go with it.

I am learning a new perspective, and in a process of redefining myself. I am looking for opportunities for self improvement while pursing my career in IT.

I am a Sr Technology Support Analyst/Desktop tech for the IT division of a multinational health insurance company. I am looking for some opportunities for advancement in that, and I like technology but it isn't all consuming, by any means.

I enjoy playing video games, particularly MMO games, with some of my free time, but I try not to let that rule my life, as they can be known to do.

I'm trying to get out more and meet people. I have spent the last few years quietly avoiding crowds, and I am trying to break away from that and be seen a bit more. I am working on a whole new set of social skills, and I am looking forward to trying them out.

Singing! I have a strong singing voice, and I have been a singer in a goth metal band for several years. My style somewhat of a cross between goth/new wave and operatic metal. I am not very active in the music scene right now, but I still write music when I feel inspired. It just isn't the focus of my life anymore.

I'm also a good conversationalist, and quite adept at making people laugh.

My eyes, I am told. They are a very deep green color, and I have received a lot of compliments on them

Film and Television: I like horror, fantasy, history, mysticism, and philosophical media. I watch a lot of horror films. I am open to watching other things with others, but when I am by myself, that's all I watch.
I have a lighthearted interest in the occult and the macabre, serial killers. I don't take it too seriously, but do find it fascinating.

I watched way too much Monty Python when I was younger, and have developed a very odd sense of humor as a result. I don't watch much TV, but I shyly confess to watching WWE...my guilty pleasure. Judge if you want, I don't care :-p

Music: I like a lot of different music. My strongest likes include metal, goth, industrial, pop, and classical. Oh, I listen to more classical than anything. But I would not consider myself an expert on the subject. I can not name the piece and the composer, I just know what I like. I current obsession with The Birthday Massacre, they are definitely my favorite band right now.

Food: I really like Italian; my family has some strong Italian influences in part of my family, and we eat a lot of pasta. I also like Thai, Chinese, and I do love a hearty steak as well. I try to eat healthy, but I confess I have a healthy Taco Bell addiction. It is shamefully irresistable.

Books: I don't read as much as I once did. It's on the To-do list for 2013.

What I want to do next in this new direction I am taking my life. I sometimes overwhelm myself with ideas and many of them never come to much, but having too many ambitions is better than having too few, so I can live with that.

That depends on how I feel. Some Fridays I will go to the gym, then just relax with a bath and a movie. Other Fridays I will go out and see a local band I know, or maybe go to a club with a few friends. Some Fridays I may just stay home and play a game. And other times I may get together with a small group of friends and just hang out or do something we enjoy.

I'm very into roleplaying, and by this I am not talking about the bedroom kind, although that isn't out of the question. But I enjoy creating characters and developing perspectives, personalities, quirks, and beliefs. I like to see how they evolve as I play them. This is somethig I do in online games, and sometimes in tabletop games with a group of friends. Some people say I should have been an actor or writer, but actors are expected to follow a script. And with writing everything is written down and there is no spontaniety to it.
