My self-summary
My name's Rob. I live in Guelph, Ontario. I was born in a land far away - Europe to be exact. Senta, Serbia (was Yugoslavia at the time), if we're going to be more exact. I came to Canada when I was 4.

That's the specifics. As for myself in general, I'm weird. I've been told I think too much. I love trying new things. I love having long conversations. I'm a very open person. I love meeting new people. I'm mature but love to joke around. I've been known to be childish. I'm great with kids. I have a few stuffed animals in my room and I'm not ashamed. I have more in a box in the basement. I'm a geek, and proud of it. Want to know more? Message me!

I am nerdy, tired, and weird
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently working as a Software Developer in Guelph. I live on my own in an apartment, with my lil Collie puppy named Abby. My goals are to save up enough money to buy a house within the next few years, and to pay off any debts.
I’m really good at
I'm pretty good at various computer stuff (programming, fixing problems, getting the damned machines to do what you want them to), math/physics, some video games, drawing...kinda (okay, okay, doodling). I'm sure I'm good at more, I guess ask me and find out.
The first things people usually notice about me
At this point, I think it's my hair. It's long. I decided, about 3 or 4 years ago, that if I didn't grow it out now I'd never get the chance, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I like to experience different things.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
(a) Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, The Never Ending Story
(b) Requiem for a Dream, Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind, Pi, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Waking Life, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Queen of the Damned, Pan's Labrynth - there's more but, quite frankly, I like too many movies to list here. Those are what popped into my head.
(c) My taste is way too diverse to give a fair idea of what I like. Lately, it's whatever's good on my Sirius radio - usually the Octane channel (hard rock). To list a few artists:
Korn, Skrillex, Bad Meets Evil, Marilyn Manson, System of a Down, Scars on Broadway, Serj Tankien
(d) I don't know if I have a favourite anymore. So many delicious foods, and too much of one thing is never good.
The six things I could never do without
This is a tough question because I think, in all seriousness, assuming life needs are met, I could do without anything. However, if I had to choose, I'd say;
1) iPhone
2) Computer(s)
3) Video games
4) My car
5) Hugs and cuddling
6) A comfortable living space
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lately, it's been my future. I'd like to buy a house within the next few years. I've entertained the thought of doing a Doctorate one day. I often wonder if I'll still be in Guelph in 10 years, or 20 years. I wonder when I'll find my soul mate, and what she'll be like.
On a typical Friday night I am
Lately my Friday nights have been pretty lame. Staying at home playing video games, or have a friend over to, well, play video games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I just had a relationship of 2.5 years end at the end of September. It hit me really hard and I still don't feel like my usual self. Please don't let that scare you off, I just want to get that out there so that I don't give the wrong impression when I take things slowly while meeting new people.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 23–26
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
I read the following quote on a Starbucks coffee:

"I used to feel so alone in the city. All those gazillions of people and then me, on the outside. Because how do you meet a new person? And then I realized, you just say, "Hi." They may ignore you. Or you may marry them. And that possibility is worth that one word."

I get along with pretty much anybody. I love meeting new people. Message me if you want, and I hope to hear from you.

P.S. If you prefer chatting over MSN, then great, because I do, too! samurai_dragon@hotmail.com
