My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm remarkable in several ways. I'm also a physically and fiscally stable, humorous, bored, East Coast bred, recently out of a 9 mo "relationship," available, reliable gentleman. You should be at least a 89% match.

Over the past ten months, I've been getting to know the city of Santa Barbara. To be brief, I like/d it here. But I can not seem to make life "stick" in Santa Barbara. The cost of housing is too much. + "should I have a baby?" asked by the ladies makes SB a tough, small city for this tenderman.

I tend to gravitate towards athletic activities, small towns, strong women and good conversations about big ideas. I don't prefer exhaust fumes, dirty streets, some nuts, skanks, and, of course, being single.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am currently my own case study; tax advisor, bicyclist and artist rep. Taxes' "busy season" restarts in October. I'm ready for another relationship, living & work situation. I like to build things, volunteer - my financial health services for low to moderate income people, students and prisoners.

The 6 days per week of road bicycling pisses others off, but my sporadic yoga practice keeps me kind-
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at accepting (dollars &) change, ha ha, developing expertise, having a beginner's mindset, and leading people on fun adventures.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Scruff, levity, clarity, lack of clarity, soft eyes and my smiles.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Donna Tartt, Wharton, Marlowe, TC Boyle, Wallace, Gray, Henry & Phillip Roth, Vonnegut.

American Flyers, American Hustle, American Gigalo and foreign films.

TV's tolerable; The Middle, Modern Family, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Burn Notice (was) my favorite show.

I'm a (local to wherever) semi-healthy foodie and an ex-Parisean baker.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
cloudy days,
my road bicycle,
good friends,
my reading glasses,
and creativity.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
When not thinking about sex or remedying the (financial) illiteracy of others, I think about the sounds of Santa Barbara;
oceans of cars,
back up beeps, chickens
and silence.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
relaxing from the work week. Dining with new or old friends or watching a good performance is typically what I end up doing on a Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am having difficulty with actually meeting people IN REAL LIFE on this site.
