Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi there! My name is Austin. I'm extremely honest. Partly because I
believe that's how it should always be done, but mostly because I
suck at lying. I can discuss events spanning the entire history of
the Republic, and quite a lot on the various Sith societies that
have sprung up throughout history as well. I have an ego that tends
to be on the larger side. Some people would call me conceited, but
I like to think of it more that I'm firmly convinced of my own
awesomeness. I'm a huge foodie, so I'm always checking the
Orlando-area blogs for new developments or restaurant reviews
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working towards an Archaeology degree at UCF. I'm hoping to study
the Maya. (Only because Yavin IV was full.) Any time I have a spare
moment that I'm not using to talk to people, I can be found reading
my Kindle. I'm currently reading Edmund Morris's The Rise of
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
remembering obscure facts and stories. I love to go and find
stories that not many people know and go tell them to other people.
Cracking jokes and making puns, sometimes they laugh and sometimes
they don't. That's how life goes though. Don't know if I'm good at
it or not, but I certainly enjoy it. I know a little about pretty
much any subject you can come up with. I'm great at getting along
with all types of people.

I love the theatre and I was in several plays in middle and high
school. My favorite musicals would probably be Avenue Q, Rent,
Chicago, and Phantom. You'll have to ask me if you want to know my
favorite plays :P
I read just about everything I can get my hands on, so my tastes
run the gamut from fantasy and sci-fi to most types of nonfiction.
The one common thing is that there are adventures. I really enjoy A
Song of Ice and Fire, and Lord of the Rings. For any fellow fans,

I really enjoy watching movies and my favorites are usually
comedies, but I've seen great examples of every genre. I'm a fan of
film noir and I enjoy a lot of the cult classics. Pulp Fiction and
The Big Lebowski being standouts for me. As for TV shows, I'm a fan
of Doctor Who and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Star Wars Rebels is
shaping up to be pretty good so far too.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to teach someone something I had just learned. I believe the
best to way to test your understanding of something is to teach it
to someone else. So I spend a lot of time planning out how I would
explain something to to other people. For example, Did you know
that most of the time what you are seeing isn't how the world
actually is but how your brain remembers it as?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm usually hanging out with my friends, probably drinking.
Sometimes we watch movies but most of the time it's just drinking
and talking. I have an opening for the position of "Boardgame
Partner" that I've been looking to fill for a while.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am a total attention whore. If I wasn't so pragmatic I could
almost be paid in compliments.
