I'm a 22 year old, recent college graduate living in the Atlanta area. My degree was in Political Science, Spanish and Art History and these things are all important because they show how diverse I am in what I'm interested in! I also love music, especially jazz, rock, blues, and pretty much anything else BUT country music. I also love reading and I like to read as much as possible. I'm really into books about British culture and my friends always joke and say that I'm secretly British. While I'm not a very experienced gamer, I love to play Guitar Hero and Rock Band and I'm pretty good at it. I'm not a huge partier, but I do love to have a good time. I also love college football and most sports but I don't get to watch them that often.

Personality wise, I'm really laid back and adventure seeking... when it's logical. I tend to be pretty outgoing, but sometimes you have to break me out of my shell first! I have a really fun sense of humor and I'm always cracking jokes or generally being a smart-ass. Despite me being funny, the only drama I want in my life should be on the TV. I also tend to be really laid back in general.

My favorite color is green, I like a guy with a nice smile, I hate squash (the vegetable), I wish I had a dog, I don't have any siblings, and... yeah. I think that's it. I mean, how can you REALLY summarize yourself into a few paragraphs!

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I'm currently working for a nonprofit in Atlanta that specializes in domestic violence prevention. I love my job, but it's hard work because of the kinds of people that we see on a daily basis. I used to work for Adult Swim when I was in college, but I think that nonprofit suits me better since I know that I can make the world a better place. I'm thinking about getting my MPA in Non-Profit management and I'd like to work for a non-profit that deals with ecological issues, women's issues or children's rights.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

A) I love anything funny. Right now, I love Stephen Colbert's book and Jon Stewart's "textbook". I also like the girly comedic novels; they're a guilty pleasure.
B) Currently, my favorite movie is Juno but I really like any movie that's funny or movies that have a positive message of some sort. I also love action movies and I really liked American Gangster.
C) I love nearly every type of music, but I can't stand country (which includes bluegrass). My favorite performer is John Mayer but lately I've been jamming out to Jason Mraz and I absolutely LOVE the Foo Fighters.
D) I am quite a picky eater, although not by choice. I love Chinese food, Thai food, Italian food and Mexican food.

Where I'll be in five years. People always ask you that on job interviews, but I really don't know where I'll be in five years. I tend to change my mind a lot (I love change and I don't really like "settling" since it seems to be too permanent) so my career may be completely different in five years!

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Hanging out with my friends. I tend to be a homebody, but I like to go out every once in awhile to make sure that I don't become a hermit. I'd much rather play games or hang out with friends than go bar-hopping but I'd be up for anything!
