Emotions
Apr 5, 2009
Someone asked me recently why I am so interested in emotions.
Here's what I said to that.
I like emotions just because of the way they are. They are complex, hard to define or describe and has a lot of variation. And yet, they can contain a vast quantity of information and wisdom. Emotions are what drives everything as far as people are concerned. People don't generally do things because they are "logically supposed to" do it. They do it because they feel like it. Emotions are something that can exist everywhere where people go (and maybe even without people being there). They can be used to change the world, create something and also destroy them. No matter what the emotion is at the end, emotions always win.
