I never know what to write for things like this - it's like those questions you get asked in interviews: "What would you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?" Are you SUPPOSED to say that it hasn't happened yet? Or, just subjectively pick some random event from your past that has stuck with you in hopes that you can re-tell it so it sounds impressive?

I love the open road on my motorcycle and always ride in the hope that the road will end at a secluded, undiscovered nude beach somewhere (it hasn't - yet). I play drums and percussion and just bought an electric guitar. I'm a shutterbug. I'm a computer geek and enjoy a good RPG (D2, NWN, ES3), but usually turn it off just before my eyes start turning square.

I am a seeker of all things hidden and misunderstood. The truth isn't enough unless it leads to another question. I'm convinced that the day to day routines that numb us only serve as a distraction from finding and experiencing the limitless possibilities of existence.

I am adventurous, ravenous, and cynical

Professionally, I'm a computer geek (network administrator) working for a pharmaceutical marketing research company. I'm trying to plan for the future whilst living for today, yet not ignoring the lessons of the past (gods! - what absolute DRIVEL!). I never seem to get enough saddle time on my motorcycle or behind my drum kit, but I keep trying. I enjoy pumping iron, but there never seems to be quite enough hours in the day. I'm still trying to figure out how to get paid a good wage while doing my job on a laptop from under a beach umbrella - I think I've almost figured it out...I'll let you know...

Playing the drums, Speaking (or writing) my mind, computers, photography, driving, cooking, making out, making up, making trouble, making people laugh, listening. I consider myself a good conversationalist because I actually LISTEN as opposed to just thinking about the next thing I want to say.

My eyes, my smile. If I'm wearing shorts - my legs...truly, they're genetically perfect.

that Heisenberg may have been here; the secrets of the Universe - especially the fact that time is an abstract concept invented by humans to measure change; death (not dying - there's a difference); also, whether it's man's destiny to ultimately evolve into a totally incorporeal being of pure energy OR will we first become Borg-like after cybernetic implants blur the lines that seperate biology and technology.

I also find myself thinking about (read - agonizing over) the current state of our planet and humanity in general - specifically, Americans and how this most recent administration was quietly robbing us of our collective soul. How is it that we've become a nation of sheep that seems to accept whatever we're told? Our government is in the pockets of corporations and lobbyists whose only allegiance is to the bottom line. Our elected officials do not represent their constituents - they seek only to line their pockets while they're in power. Has our democracy been supplanted by fascism while we weren't paying attention? Are we going to wait until it's too late to decide that the environment is actually important and must be protected? Why do so many fail to realize that the economy is a wholly owned subsidiary of the ecology? Of course, in the long run, the earth will be fine - it's mankind who will no longer be here because of our short-sightedness.

These and other disjointed thoughts consume my waking moments, yet they are punctuated by joyous interludes and flashes of enlightenment...so hope springs eternal.
