I'm not all that comfortable filling these things out. I guess you could consider my interests somewhat geekish (sci-fi, computers, etc) yet I also like the outdoors (hiking, kayaking, etc). I tend to be more comfortable in small groups and given a choice I'd rather spend time in the barn than at a bar.

I am independent, punny, and reserved

I live with my mother. I moved back home after my father passed away and started working in the family business. That was 20 years ago. Ten years ago we bought a farm and started raising sheep and goats. We sell fleece and breeding stock mostly, I'd have a hard time making the jump from being the person who helps deliver and name all these guys and the one who sends them off to market so we don't sell our stock as meat. We've got around 60-70 at this time.

Procrastinating. It probably took a year before I got around to starting to fill this profile out. I'll probably fill the rest out tomorrow...or next month.

Probably that I'm thinner than average.

Other than the obvious, classic choice, Lord of the Rings, I read alot of science fiction/fantasy. David Weber, Larry Niven, Peter F Hamilton and Terry Pratchett are some of the authors I've been reading lately. I tend to like movies along the same lines, and I'm always willing to watch The Princess Bride again...inconthievable! I generally listen to what would be classified as classic rock but I'm open to most things other than hip hop and rap that really does nothing for me. I like a variety of foods too. As long as the meat's lean and cooked, and I can identify what's on the plate I'll give it a try. ;)

A good book, a fast internet connection, the cats and dogs, and a place to live with a minimum of pavement where the nearest neighbors are a more than a 5 minute walk away.

Watching TV or playing World of Warcraft. Maybe bottle feeding a lamb.
