Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Alright well, here is a very hasty summary of myself. If I
I have a degree in fine art. I paint and do mixed media. But to be
honest its been a long time since I've picked up a brush. I've been
wanting to get back into it and never stop thinking of ideas for
pieces. Collecting is a hobby of mine, more specifically bones and
other nature bits. I love natural history museums, well the animal
I am extremely competitive. To the point where a few of my friends
won't play games with me. I see that as a victory.
Road trips, traveling, hiking, walking, and camping are just as
enjoyable as dressing up, drinking wine, watching tv, lurking the
internet, and sleeping.
I have this unyielding desire to know peoples "why"s. I can and
want to discuss your psychology. I love getting to know how someone
thinks and what motivates them. I am always curious and a bit of a
voyeur; if you are arguing in the street, I will listen.
Some random information:
I am more upset when an animal dies in a movie than a human.
I absolutely hate the heat. Summer is by far my least favorite
I don't kill spiders, I take them outside. And I will be mad if you
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
What am I doing with my life? What are you, my mother?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Winning at boardgames, being a smart ass, getting giddy over
animals and museums, directions and not getting lost, cooking and
trying new recipes, playing trivia, walking, and daydreaming. I
excel in daydreaming.
The first things people usually notice about me

That I'm tall. And I have nice eyes and hair.

I am really starting to get into the epic fantasy/adventure novels.
Preferably a trilogy or series. I am just starting and would love
some suggestions! Also good majority of my books tend to be satire
and observational humor. Like Sedaris or Klosterman.I will always
have a soft spot for animal based books. Reference guides and
research/informational types. Or about natural history
I am choosing to not list a bunch of movies I like. Instead just
know I love watching movies. I prefer "real" emotional movies over
big blockbusters(but I will still watch most of them) But I will
always pick the witty/dark comedy first. But I will watch any
movie, unless its about aliens....
I tend to watch large amounts of television series on Netflix. I do
not have cable but I keep up with(ok, here is a list):Parks and
Rec, 30 Rock, The Office, Modern Family, Archer, The League, Flight
of the Conchords, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested
Development,and Californication. Game of Thrones!!
Music, I am unrealistically picky. And my taste changes quite a bit
based on my mood. I love a good female singer with a raspy, sultry
voice, and a beat. Think Gossip and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.I love
Motown and blues. Indie stuff, if not too whiny. Oh and I love Lady
Gaga....embarrassing. But my true musical orgasms involve southern
rock. When I want want to be put in or celebrate a good mood, I
turn on some CCR..
Oh food. I am almost as big of a foodie as I am an animal geek. I
love to read about food, make food, go to restaurants, even go
grocery shopping. I read menus online for fun. I want to try the
most unique sounding item when I am out at a restaurant. And a goal
of mine is to be able to recreate dishes I have had, at home.
Yea...I love food and cooking. I particularly love cooking for
themes. It's cheesy and hookey yes, but I can't help it. Throw me a
holiday, no matter how obscure and I will theme the hell out of
it!! St. Patrick's day? Guinness cupcakes!! Bastille day?? Let's
I am really starting to get into crafting and sewing. I received a
sewing machine for Christmas and have been making some clothes for
myself. It's a pretty awesome feeling. I am a diy person. If I can
make something, I would rather do that then spend the money. Saves
money and I can also put my own creativity into it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Beer, wine, liquor.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where I will go on vacation. What I will make for dinner.
But mostly I think stuff I am not entirety comfortable putting out
there. Publicly at least.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Idealistically- leaving on a road trip for the weekend to a random
spot I picked out on the map.
Possibly- Going out to a movie or trying a new restaurant or
walking around to dive bars with friends.
Most likely- Going out to a happy hour and/or dinner and letting go
of the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Oh I'm a bit of a secret keeper. I don't give up mine very easily
but please tell me all of your secrets though. I live off
Ok fine, I make up ridiculous songs about my animals, and sing the
songs to them on a regular basis. There, you happy?
