I am really starting to get into the epic fantasy/adventure novels.
Preferably a trilogy or series. I am just starting and would love
some suggestions! Also good majority of my books tend to be satire
and observational humor. Like Sedaris or Klosterman.I will always
have a soft spot for animal based books. Reference guides and
research/informational types. Or about natural history
I am choosing to not list a bunch of movies I like. Instead just
know I love watching movies. I prefer "real" emotional movies over
big blockbusters(but I will still watch most of them) But I will
always pick the witty/dark comedy first. But I will watch any
movie, unless its about aliens....
I tend to watch large amounts of television series on Netflix. I do
not have cable but I keep up with(ok, here is a list):Parks and
Rec, 30 Rock, The Office, Modern Family, Archer, The League, Flight
of the Conchords, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested
Development,and Californication. Game of Thrones!!
Music, I am unrealistically picky. And my taste changes quite a bit
based on my mood. I love a good female singer with a raspy, sultry
voice, and a beat. Think Gossip and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.I love
Motown and blues. Indie stuff, if not too whiny. Oh and I love Lady
Gaga....embarrassing. But my true musical orgasms involve southern
rock. When I want want to be put in or celebrate a good mood, I
turn on some CCR..
Oh food. I am almost as big of a foodie as I am an animal geek. I
love to read about food, make food, go to restaurants, even go
grocery shopping. I read menus online for fun. I want to try the
most unique sounding item when I am out at a restaurant. And a goal
of mine is to be able to recreate dishes I have had, at home.
Yea...I love food and cooking. I particularly love cooking for
themes. It's cheesy and hookey yes, but I can't help it. Throw me a
holiday, no matter how obscure and I will theme the hell out of
it!! St. Patrick's day? Guinness cupcakes!! Bastille day?? Let's
I am really starting to get into crafting and sewing. I received a
sewing machine for Christmas and have been making some clothes for
myself. It's a pretty awesome feeling. I am a diy person. If I can
make something, I would rather do that then spend the money. Saves
money and I can also put my own creativity into it.
