My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Are you adventuresome, someone that likes to giggle and have fun, and who isn't afraid to live vibrantly? If so, I'm looking for you! I'm searching for friends who can accompany me as I explore all that life has to offer. I'm a little awkward. Not always socially correct. I can be wallflowerish at times, and a little nutty at other times. I can laugh at myself and hope you can too! I enjoy just about anything: music, sports, arts, movies, you name it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Every day is a new adventure for me! I'm definitely not the type to sit around waiting for something fun to happen; I make my own fun. Recent things I've been up to: deep sea fishing (caught a 42 in Blue Wahoo recently), going to local concerts, dreaming up a non-profit adventure with friends, collecting autographs (no, I don't want yours), etc. I recently had ACL surgery, so I'm in the middle of physical therapy. I can't wait until August when I should be allowed to ride my motorcycle again (I have a Buell). I also like hiking, rollerblading, playing pickleball, etc.

I also love to travel. Last year I spent 3 weeks puttering around England, Scotland, and Iceland. Highlights included several amazing waterfall hikes, whiskey tasting in Scotland, and climbing a glacier in Iceland. This year I went zip lining, caving, rappelling, and fishing in Mexico. Next year I'm kicking around ideas: India or Turkey? tsk tsk, decisions. I don't need to just travel abroad though. I actively explore this area, and I LOVE to find hidden treasures right here in the greater Capital District area (or, at least, within a day trip area).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Pairing wine with food. Rolling loose change. OCD-organizing my closet. Organizing projects at work. Talking like a monkey. Over-analyzing poetry.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People probably notice that I'm short right off the bat. I've been told my people notice eyes or my smile. That's assuming I'm awake and smiling when we meet, you know. It's not a given.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Game of Thrones, Pillars of the Earth, anything Shakespeare, Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, The Fountainhead.

Movies: James Bonds, Star Warses, Princess Bride, Iron Man.

Music: I love just about everything from Alt, Pop, Classic Rock, Ska, Reggae, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Opera, Lounge/Showtunes, House/Dance, Heavy Metal, Country, blahblahblah.

Food: I like just about anything. Sashimi trumps sushi; whiskey trumps gin; salad trumps pasta.

Noteworthy: I REALLY like architecture. Quite a lot. And bridges!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Toilet paper. Music. Hugs. A job. A car/mode of transportation. Clothes. Sleep! The Oxford comma.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
...how broken social restrictions/rules are, and how difficult real friendship is to find in the world....
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sometimes I go out and about....catching a concert, hanging out with girlfriends, gambling at the Racino, driving to Maine for no reason at all. And sometimes I stay in and read a book and watch stupid things on tv.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not single. But I'm not cheating, either.
