I am enthusiastic, creative, and still not in prison.
My Self-Summary
So here we go. I just recently moved to St. Louis from Cape
Girardeau. Now I'm learning my way around and looking for new
friends. I need a social life, and new outlets for my creativity. I
recently graduated with a degree in
Film, and I would like to get involved with
the local film making community. I would also like to be involved
in the
theater
community. Mostly right now I'm just looking for ways to fill my
time.
I am looking up some old friends, but I am also trying to make new
friends. I am also looking for someone to take out on a date.
Fortunately I don't have any "baggage". Not married, never have
been married, no kids, no open pit full of corpses. I'm just a
single guy in the city.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm trying to find a NEW life. Moving here has been a
pretty drastic change. I can't wait to get settled into a new
routine. Also, I'd like to make some exciting new friends here in
the Saint Louis area. I want to go crazy!!
Wait. Hold on. Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop snortin'
Pixie Stix. Gimme a minute...

OH YEAH! Anyway, where was I?
I’m really good at
Writing!! I can write really well. Right now I'm focusing on
screenwriting, but I would also like to write a play one day. Plus
I like writing short stories. I'm one of those creative types.
Writing seems to be something I'm really great at, and I always
enjoy expressing myself. This current script is really creepy. Next
I'd like to do something that is really light-hearted. Something
funny!
I am also really great at my job. And I'm a great friend.
The first things people usually notice about me
My wild enthusiasm. After that, I think they notice my charm and
kindness. That or they think I'm raving mad. And I've been told
that I have beautiful blue eyes on several occasions. I also used
to hear that I have a cute butt, but I haven't heard that in a
while... And I've heard other great things about my anatomy. It's
funny. You'd think that more people would have seen a third eye
before.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I like scary books, and I like biographies of somewhat obscure
celebrities. I really appreciate those people who don't get much
attention. William M. Gaines, Keith Moon. That kind of thing. Also,
if you were to look at my sizable collection of books, you would
notice that several of the books are
horror-based. Not so much fantasy
or sci-fi. I really prefer scary books. And I have a big collection
of reference books, and several books about
writing and
screenwriting. It's like a small
library. Of course I haven't read most of them all of the way
through, but I take great comfort in knowing that I have
them.
I will watch nearly any movie. I prefer independent films, and
scary movies. As for food, I guess I'm sort of picky. No point in
making anything fancy!
My favorite authors are Joe R. Lansdale, H.P. Lovecraft, and
Richard Matheson. Favorite filmmakers include
John Carpenter, George
Romero, Quentin Tarentino, and Robert Rodriguez. Oh, and Guillermo
del Toro. I also love the
Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson, and
Sam Raimi.
And I hate Reality Television. I mean, really. "Hate" is not too
strong a word. I just don't get it. I have a Reality TV show too.
It's called "I went outside today."
Favorite music includes Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The
Pogues,
Tom
Waits, Flogging Molly, The Ramones, The Clash, Elvis Costello,
David Bowie, Tool,
Nine Inch Nails, Alice in
Chains,
Nick
Cave, The Talking Heads,
Radiohead, Faith No More,
Television, Wilco, and
Rage Against the Machine. That's just off the top of my head.
Oh, and I always come back to the "London Calling" album, recorded
by The Clash. And the "Transformer" album by Lou Reed. Those two
albums are eternal.
The six things I could never do without
My GPS Unit. I would be completly lost right now without it.
Seriously.
My Multitool. I can fix anything with that damn thing.
My laptop.
Women.
My car. It gets me to work!
My body. I have not yet mastered Astral Projection.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Movies, and how to make them. And I often find myself studying
story structure. I like a good story.
I also think a lot about random pop culture stuff. Information that
will never save my life, unless our world is attacked by alien Game
Show Hosts. But if that DOES happen, you can rest assured that our
world will be safe.
And I think a lot about women, and what the heck they want.
Sometimes I think it may be balloon animals.
I also spend a lot of time thinking about the strange Gypsy woman
who cursed me in the Chuck E. Cheese parking lot. Something about
nachos, I think. I suppose I shouldn't have taken her parking spot.
She had the bug eyes, and a big long nose. And one tooth. And that
tooth had hair on it. So she cursed me on that day, and I have
never been able to enjoy nachos again. I spend a lot of time
thinking about that.
On a typical Friday night I am
Trapped inside, or at work. But I'm looking to change that once I
get a social life. I'm trying to adopt a new sleep schedule because
I have noticed that a lot of people stay up later in St. Louis. And
I don't mind sleeping in. Who does?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I have a really
filthy mind. But that's better than
a boring mind, right? I mean at least it keeps me entertained. How
'bout you?
You should message me if
If you would like to join the cult of Sheriff David. Hope you don't
mind eating people. Also, my calendar shows that the rest of the
cult will die soon. So keep that in mind before you fill out the
application.
