Hi, I'm a fun-loving nerdy gentleman about town. I'm into piercings and tattoos (I have a few of each), reading (both graphic novels and 'regular' novels, fiction, and some non-fiction), games (though not the relationship, power-struggle kind), and parenthesis. I also love an eclectic array of music, and enjoy a pretty diverse medley of genres. Also, I like zombies and unicorns (in a straight way, though).

I suppose I'm here first and foremost to make some cool new friends. Where things progress from there isn't what concerns me, really. I'm just in a place in my life where meeting someone who is completely hilarious, fun to be around, a big nerd, and likes some of the same obscure bull-crap as me would be really swell. So if that sounds at all like you (I guess you'd need to read on to figure out the obscure bull-crap part...), feel free to drop me a line. I'm pretty friendly!

I currently work as design and production staff for a sign company. I have my Bachelor's degree, and intend on finding something more creative to do with myself in the future, either in the realm of design or illustration. Or maybe I'll just become a professional poker player. Wouldn't rule that option out.

Drawing, painting, and digital art. Losing track of time while engulfed by a book. Using interesting adjectives. Playing strategy games. Skiing. Poker. Writing, kind of. Sentence Fragments. Writing sentence fragments.

Normally, what a goof-ball I am (in a good way, though). Sometimes people notice the large holes in my ears (5/8") before anything else. My sense of humor tends to be the thing that a lot of people initially are drawn to.

But I'm also very fond of House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski, most of Chuck Palahniuk's work, the Wet Moon series by Ross Campbell, the Harrington on Hold 'em series (I am a poker nerd), The Wind Up Bird Chronicle, World War Z, Good Omens, Piers Anthony's Xanth series, the Walking Dead graphic novels, anything by Alan Moore, and anything by Terry Pratchett.

Movies:
Happiness of the Katakuris, Event Horizon, Monty Python's Meaning of Life, The Dark Knight, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Cannibal: the Musical, Watchmen, Pan's Labyrinth, Labyrinth, the Evil Dead Trilogy, anything by Miyazaki, anything with zombies.

Food:
Easy. I'm from Maine, so it's obviously Lobster. Specifically the Baked Stuffed Lobster with seafood stuffing, from Cooks Restaurant. So good. That said, I also really enjoy Indian food a lot. I could probably drink Masala sauce, as terrifying as that sounds. Japanese, Thai, and comforty-American foods are also appealing. And even bad pizza is usually pretty edible. I am on a bit of a health kick lately, however, and trying to avoid over-indulging in many of these items.

Some kind of sketchbook, Something to draw with, The internet, A computer, my music collection...hmm. No idea what the sixth thing would be. A towel? I know that if I want to be a cool Frood, I need to know where it is. And that it is highly useful to have in a variety of situations. So let's go with that for the time being.

My life, my plans, the future.

Whatever I'm reading or watching lately (I mostly watch movies and animated shows, though sometimes I get sucked into "normal" TV, mostly Food Network programs).

Zombies. If I get wrapped up pondering the ideal methods for surviving a zombie apocalypse, my mind will churn away on the details for eons.

Games. If there is a game, and I really want to win, I will set my mind to figuring out how to make it happen. I will think about how I've played in the past, and how I could play better...

Out with my friends, playing some kind of game, possibly out at at the movies or doing some other kind of shennanigans. Sometimes just spending time alone, though I'm trying to get over all my anti-social tendancies.

I'm a fairly vulnerable and insecure guy, deep down, but it's not something I'm willing to just accept anymore, so I'm working to change that.
