My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Upbeat & easy-going. According to a highly scientific personality quiz I took once on the Internets, if I were a breed of dog, I would be a Golden Retriever. I'm often the one organizing get-togethers and usually the last one to leave a party. I'm definitely not a wallflower - I love meeting new people and have the confidence and curiosity to get along with just about anyone. At the same time, I have a very cerebral side that I seek to balance with my more light-hearted side. I have always had diverse groups of friends to match my diverse interests and experiences.

I am extremely passionate about the things I care about -- my friends and family, my work, liberal politics, music, etc.

Here are some other things I love:
~ live music (esp. rock & blues)
~ the Great Outdoors
~ nerdy documentaries
~ parties, great & small
~ photography & other creative endeavors
~ wine bars & dives
~ Arrested Development marathons
~ classic literature & philosophy (my 2 majors)
~ mockumentaries (Hello Cleveland!)
~ making a fool of myself at karaoke
~ lazy Sundays
~ bulleted lists
And like pretty much everyone on here, my absolute favorite thing to do is travel and explore other cultures; I've spent time living in Africa.

I'm looking for someone who is kind, fun to be with, who is driven but doesn't take himself too seriously, and who knows what he wants from a relationship. Basically, I am looking for someone who's adventurous like I am, but who can also help make even the mundane moments into something adventurous and fun.

I'm an attorney for the greatest City in the world :). I can't definitively say I will practice law forever, but my work is interesting, inspiring, and challenging, and whatever I do must fulfill these criteria.

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
On my recent self-evaluation for work, I accidentally typed that "I am adept at defusing tense situations with humus."
