My self-summary
I'm a transgender (transsukupuolinen) woman looking for nice, open-minded people to date.

If you are lean towards right politically or believe in some voodoo economics such as "trickle down" or otherwise just be a greedy, unpleasant person, please stop reading and move on. I'm not saying you are wrong but I know I don't want to hear from you. Same goes for racists and homophobes.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently doing 3rd sector volunteer work. I live alone with my Sudanese Plated Lizard.
I’m really good at
Everything. No, really I'm a quick learner...

Well to be honest, I think myself as at least semi-intelligent, humorous (sometimes a bit too much even) and emotional woman. I'm also long-tempered, and don't get angry too often (even though sometimes I should). I also consider myself a bit geeky, and proud of it :P.
The first things people usually notice about me
Well, I'm not the smallest of girls, mostly due to my bone structure. People usually see my good-willingness and patience as the most visible things on my personality. And as I said, I joke too often. But maybe my eyes have gotten the most compliments.

And, yes those are my real lips.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Oh, this is a list I could go on for days. Better just to say that I like rock/metal music, watch movies like 300, Sin City, Kill Bill etc. I love cooking and wine. I play random games, be it tabletop (Arkham Horror, Munchkin etc.) or computer/videogames (Mass Effect, WoW and occasionally some other MMO's, League of Legends, Dragon Age, Baldur's Gate etc.). I also enjoy reading, mostly philosophy (all authors), (sosial) politics, fantasy (H.R.R. Martin, Sapkowski) and humor (Adams, Pratchett). I don't watch TV (and don't own one), but some series are good, including Sense 8 (them feels), Orange is the New Black, Supernatural, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Babylon 5 (best series so far), South Park and other misc. funny cartoons.
The six things I could never do without
- Tomatoes. I really, really love tomatoes. They're just awesome in cooking :)
- Good makeup foundation. Really saves those days when you look like you're gonna scare the neighborhood kids by going out.
- Caffeine. There are days when coffee tastes bad, but thank god for tea. I don't like energy drinks though.
- People with good heart. I can't stand selfish people.
- Computers and Internet. Just the amount of knowledge the internet holds says it all. Also, I don't watch TV (don't even own one) so I check all the news from the internet and keep in touch with friends.
- Estrogen. I think this is a bit self-explanatory. :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The Future, now that I'm truly able to work on it, after years of depression.
On a typical Friday night I am
Well this is a Friday night I'm writing these things, so... go figure ;)

Actually I usually get bored during the week and typically need some action. So I'm usually with my friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm post-op.
You should message me if
You're an open-minded person and you found me worthy of your message. Also don't mind if there is a "replies very selectively" -icon next to my profile, since there is an awful lot of spam messages nowdays. And even though you won't probably read my profile anyways before you send those "Hi", "Hello" etc. messages, be aware that those messages go directly into the recycle bin.

Also please understand that "Near me" -part, while it can be a matter of view, doesn't include countries from Middle East, Far Asia etc. You can write me, but I probably won't answer.
