My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'd like to say that I'm interesting or something, but I'm not entirely sure that I am. I wrote my senior thesis paper in philosophy about the Song of Ice and Fire series of books, if that tells you anything about how I spend my time?

I'm weird.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finished off two degrees, one in psychology, and another in philosophy. I'd like to go back and get a Master's, but who knows!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sarcasm, noticing trends in music or patterns in things. Remembering useless facts, singing badly when I think no one can hear. I'm also really badass at the board game Clue. I haven't met anyone that can beat me at it yet. Feel free to try.

On an unrelated note, I'm decent at growing a beard.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been complimented on my smile on occasion, most people probably notice my glasses I'd assume.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love music of all kinds, especially punk and ska, hard rock, heavy metal. Anything with a trumpet or sax. I can't stand the pop drivel that's on the radio most of the time. Current favorites include but aren't limited to:

Rise Against
The Offspring
Reel Big Fish
Rage Against the Machine
Streetlight Manifesto

As far as books go, at the moment I spend a lot of time reading books for class, so it's all about philosophy at the moment. I do, however, enjoy a pretty wide variety of books, and I read a lot. Particular favorites are: The Kingkiller Chronicles, A Song of Ice and Fire.

Movies. Let's see, I like zombie movies, thrillers, action, comedy. Pretty much anything as long as it's not too sappy. Some of my favorites are:

Shaun of the Dead, Clerks 1 and 2, 28 Days Later, High Fidelity, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Back to the Future, The Mighty Ducks, Meet the Parents, Analyze This, Superbad, Zombieland, Youth in Revolt, Saved!, Donnie Darko

Should probably include TV shows here too, since I spend a lot of time trying to keep up with quite a few of them...Arrested Development, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Arrow, The League, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, HIMYM, just to name a few.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Books, lots of books to keep my mind sharp.
2. Music, life would be boring without it.
3. As much as it pains me to say it, the internet.
4. Occasional days where I just do nothing, it's nice to recharge.
5. Even though it would be better for me to be without it, Netflix or any other way of streaming video. I waste so much time, but it's so fun.
6. A somewhat cold climate. I don't like super hot summers.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Time travel.
How if pokemon were real, we'd outlaw battling them since it's essentially cockfighting.
How to build a spacecraft that could be inhabited by multiple generations of people. It's the only way we'll be able to effectively reach the stars, folks.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either out with some friends or watching a movie, maybe writing. Friday is just another day, really. Why should it be different from any other day?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'd admit to you in person probably, not on the internet for everyone to see!
You should message me if

Just do it. I'm not scary.
