My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
OK. I haven't actually been on here in a very long time, so it's about time to update. The name's Ryan, and I am pretty flat out honest. I am blunt to a possible fault. I am an open book for the most part, but I do have things, like most people, that I don't really tell people. I love video games, reading, talking to people, having witty conversation, and just being with people in general. It's a habit of mine to correct peoples' grammar. If I do it to you, please don't be offended. One thing people know about me: I do not walk on egg shells when I first talk to them. I intentionally look for buttons, but try to only brush over them instead of push them, but only so I know which ones to avoid in the future. I will admit that until I feel comfortable around you, I am pretty shy. If you want to know anything else, just let me know, and more than likely, I'd be more than happy to tell you.

Getting my own place soon, and (finally) going to start out on my own. Right now, I'm just looking for people to talk to, but if more develops, so be it. I don't believe in fate, but I don't really believe in coincidences either.

I am realistic, fun-loving, and well-mannered
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I want to be an adolescent psychologist. Currently out of college because of financial issues, but I'm hoping to get back there as soon as I can. I can't really stand the stagnation that I'm in right now. If I can just get something done, I think I'll be ok. Like I said, I'm going to strike out on my own. Hopefully, I can be in college next fall and progress with my life. I'm still not chugging along by any means, but I'm taking a few baby steps, which is progress.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
video games, and helping people with problems. I don't really seem to have any other talents sadly, but that's OK. I like me, and that's the only thing that matters, right? ^_^ I'm also pretty good at listening to people, but I guess that kinda goes with helping, huh? That being said, while I am a very good listener, there are only a few people I can actually talk with for a good deal of time. It just takes time to get used to people. Once I'm comfortable with you, however, I should be just fine with talking.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My complete and utter openness. I don't really hide much. I guess like most people, my general appearance gets noticed as well, and it's been said that I have a kind heart, which I would like to believe.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Blue is for Nightmares and The Looking Glass Wars saga, Name of the Wind, Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (I still, sadly, have the second book sitting on my shelf) Food: Anything that's convenient, although I try to keep preserved foods to a minimum so I don't gain a lot of weight, and my taste buds are changing to where I like more vegetables (yes!). I'm not really a movie person, but I will watch them occasionally when someone else wants to, although, I do love Pan's Labyrinth. As far as music goes, I don't really like rap or most country, but there's only so much country that I like. I'm more of a rock/techno kinda guy, but I do love various kinds of music as well, especially classical. It's so soothing. Favorite artists right now are Girl in a Coma, The Noisettes, Franz Ferdinand, Regina Spektor, and the Dresden Dolls.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
(Besides the obvious like food, water, etc?) 1. My friends 2. My family 3. Internet access for longer than a month period (Just so you know, it starts getting hard from here) 4. Sleep...I get really cranky without sleep 5. My games, be it video or puzzles 6. My fan/blanket. (I get hot/cold easily)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I try not to spend too much time thinking unless it's for homework. But I guess in general, I think about scenarios. I think about what has been, what is going on, and what could be. Things could range from how I'll do at something, to how well I think my personal relationship with someone will be. Honestly, I try not to think about much, but sometimes that fails me, especially when I try to sleep.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing whatever it is I can find to do. I rarely ever have plans for the weekend, but I try to make them whenever possible. I'm also the type that has to plan in advance what's going to happen because I hate last minute things. They just kinda bother me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Ask me just about anything, and I'll answer, although, like most people, I have my secrets.
