My name is Steve and I am shy and quiet at first but once you get to know me, you'll see me as a smart-ass who can make you laugh. I tend to procrastinate often but can still pull off something good at the end. I've been told I am too intelligent to work where I work and my strong memory tends to make people rely on me more often than usual. I am a huge anime nerd. Not huge enough to where I have figurines and posters all over the place but enough to where I watch maybe a series a week if I have the time. I'm also getting into the Japanese culture quite a bit (big surprise >_>) and plan to travel there someday. Actually I want to travel the world but Japan and New Zealand are first on the list.

Just finished my last semester at Gateway for my Network Specialist degree meaning I am somewhat of a computer nerd. Now I'm studying for certifications while waiting for the Network Security degree program to become available. Aside from the IT languages I'm trying to cram in my head, I'm learning Japanese on the side. It's going at a slow rate since I'm not taking classes on it. I also plan on learning a martial art within a couple years, possibly kenjutsu or aikido. For now, I just mimic what I see on the Internet and spar by the lake with my friends via combat-ready lightsabers. I work at a grocery store so my income isn't great but my great coworkers are the reason why I've decided to stay til I get a job in my field. I am starting a weapon collection, excluding firearms, because I like martial arts and they look awesome.

Being a nice guy because someone's happiness takes priority over my own. Of course, making someone happy also makes me happy. I'm also good at teasing people and being a smart-ass (not in serious situations mind you). I've been told I'm a decent swordsman though I feel I still have a long way to go. I'm also good at randomly finding catchy songs.

People usually notice how quiet I am or that I look high.

I don't read often, but when I do it's usually manga or novels that are related to certain anime universes. I like the fantasy genre so LOTR, Harry Potter, and such are what I end up reading. Movies and shows are same as above, aka anime or fantasy-related. Whose Line Is It Anyways? and Mythbusters are the only shows I watch. I listen to a lot of J-pop and J-rock and the only flavor of techno I don't like is dubstep. Electroswing is nice too. As for food, I'll eat almost anything and I've got a good metabolism to go with it
