My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Originally from the suburbs now, working on being a Ballard lifer. I have a great group of friends I met in school that keep me thoroughly entertained. I prefer to be outside doing something even if it means getting cold and wet. I’m blunt and honest to the point I offend some people. I read a lot, watch a lot of discovery channel, and go to a lot of trivia nights.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Skiing, planning our next trip, reading books people I respect have already read, reading books people I hate have written, fishing, flying airplanes, volunteering for lost causes, plotting my revenge.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Skiing, flying, helping my friends to do things their significant others are opposed to, having a pen.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm opinionated, aggressive, usually wearing gore-tex
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books; Robert Heinlein, Jim Kjelgaard, or Warren Miller. Climbing books. Crime capers, scifi, documentaries. Music, all of it except county recorded after 1990. Food; mostly Asian or Mediterranean, but I have a soft spot for any kind of seafood.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Oxygen, Glucose, Protein, Solar Radiation, Snow, Beer
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why people tend to be so stupid once they get elected to a public office, skiing in Canada, renewable energy, girls who ski better than I do, building better mouse traps.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
With friends at a bar, friends at a dinner party, camping with friends, possibly working (ew), getting ready to go skiing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was a TA in 9th grade and when our teacher changed the test at the last minute I stole a copy of the test and gave it to all of my friends.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like to go to the mountains. You have ever been referred to as ‘clever’ or ‘selfless’. You have a desire to drink beer socially every once in a while. You want to get to know somebody who meets the above criteria.
