I am frank, whimsical, and yearning.
My Self-Summary
I have a map to the Lost City of Gold.
Not really, but I need a hook, and most of the basic stuff about me
is written elsewhere on this page. Mostly I'm pretty ordinary, but
I tell good stories. There is carnie blood in my family. I'm more
lesbian than bisexual, so I invented the word blesbian. You can
look it up. My worst flaw is laziness but I have excellent night
vision. I like
cats,
dogs, historical humor, big words, long naps,
slash fanfiction, and when people think I'm
tough (I'm not).
What I’m doing with my life
Getting started in Calgary - my last best chance to work in the
field I love.
In my spare time, I make paper dolls, prowl flea markets, monitor
local squirrel activities, read historical fiction, and fall into
things.
I’m really good at
Languages.
Scrabble. Telling
people what their names mean. Making cats purr. Making casseroles.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm fairly tall. My parents met each other in a club for tall
people. It's not freakish though (freakish is my off-center
kneecaps). Also, I'm quite plain-spoken to the point of bluntness.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
The internet. My glasses. A sense of the absurd. A good casserole
recipe. Comfortable shoes. Thrift stores.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I would survive in a
post-apocalyptic
wasteland. Mostly likely, not long.
On a typical Friday night I am
Bugging my friends to go see a movie with me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I had a major teenage crush on
Xena: Warrior Princess.
You should message me if
You're funny, affectionate, tolerant of other peoples' obsessions,
and want a girlfriend.
