My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, it looks like I will soon be relocating to the Seattle, WA area. Hopefully that will be a good thing. On with the show.

Recently, due to some bad planning on my part, I accidentally destroyed the known Universe and replaced it with an almost exact duplicate. So, if you have been feeling a bit off lately, that is most likely due to your not actually being you but, as I said, an almost exact duplicate. Sorry, my bad. By the way, your favorite color is now blevorp.

Now on to who I am, at least in this Universe:
I am shy, sometimes painfully so, though once I get to know you that shyness tends to evaporate. I am deeply in love with my wife and, in case you are wondering, she is well aware of this profile. I am a writer and sculptor though I have been told I am better at writing than sculpting (not quite sure how to take that one) I am a very open minded person. I love discussion that is both open and frank. This, unfortunately, is a rare thing in our world. Most folks, sadly, get upset when challenged. I am really looking to make new friends. Lovers are great but friends last. If something physical develops that is always nice but it is not the main goal

By the way, if I visit your page and don't drop you a line, it may not be that I didn't like your profile but that you may have had something that disqualified me right away (i.e. "who are single") or I simply do not have time to respond at that particular moment. If you would like to chat then, by all means, drop me a line.

I have a few sculpts up on my Facebook page if you would like to give them a look. Admittedly, they are there even if you don't want to give them a look. Just saying

I also have a couple of semi-regularly updated blogs/rants here: and

I am Artistic, Intelligent, Open-minded, and the very model of a modern major-general.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Saving the world!!! Or destroying it. I always get those two mixed up.

Also, I am working on developing a fool-proof Z.C.P. Not having one or having one that consists solely of tripping the person running beside you is just asking for trouble.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
writing poetry, fiction, and sculpting. Probably some other stuff I haven't figured out yet as well, at least I hope so.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The shimmering aura of pure evil... Um, good, I meant good 0:)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
A: Dune series, almost anything by Stephen King or Christopher Moore, Johnny Got his Gun, Fight Club, American Psycho, text books, poetry, comic books (Yes, they are a legitimate art form no matter how some try to marginalize them. That said, they are not ALL art.), many others in many genres

B: Serenity (Well, part of it anyway). Firefly, Star Wars, Star Trek, I am really enjoying The Walking Dead right now as well. I like all kinds of movies. Horror, drama, comedy, whatever, it really all depends on the mood.

C: The Doors, Jonathan Coulton if you haven't heard this guy yet, he is great and has managed to stay away from the RIAA (may they burn in that special hell), Billy Connelly, Weird Al Yankovic, They Might be Giants, Opera, Leonard Cohen, Most genres, though not fond of most rap or country. That said, I will listen to anything once or twice

D: Food that doesn't eat me first and doesn't put up much of a fight. I am kinda wussy
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My wife, engaging conversation, words, clay, poetry, music

I suppose technically I could live with out all these things, but really, where is the fun in that?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Damn near everything. It's what I do rather than actually accomplishing anything. That and Laika
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
writing, sculpting or playing video games. I know, I am dull. It's a gift.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am, as previously stated, a giant wuss. Fear my wussiness!!! Go on. Fear it. I'll wait.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You would like to have a conversation, are not judgmental and are capable of intelligent thought. This is kinda important as at least one of us should be. It also wouldn't hurt if you weren't adverse to the idea of actually meeting in (GASP!) real life.
